This is the 4th time that we have stayed at Bishop's House Hotel and should we be lucky enough to visit Prague again we will definitely stay there again. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the position of the hotel in Prague means that you are central to everywhere. The breakfast was good and plentiful and our... More

This was my 6th visit to Prague and my 3rd stay at Bishop's House Hotel. If I am lucky enough to return to Prague, I hope to stay here again. Bishop's House Hotel is located right beside the Bridge Tower on the Mala Strana side of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle and the Old Town are within easy walking... More

Have just stayed four nights at Bishops Hotel in Prague. Found hotel through trip advisor and thought prices were very reasonable then booked through booking.com. Hotel is in a fantastic location being literally less than 60 meters from the Charles IV Bridge under the shadow of the castle. Hotel is in a little cull-de-sac filled with restaurants including the fantastic... More

We received a nice friendly greeting on our arrival at the hotel, and the receptionist was very helpful and professional in allocating our room and explaining what the hotel had to offer. The double room was very spacious, warm, clean and tidy with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage for clothes and coffee and tea making facilities and a good... More

Having just returned from this hotel - the location is amazing virtually right on Charles Bridge - it's handy for the castle and observation tower which is a must to see - the Christmas markets which are scattered around the city as worth seeing just for the lights and an enormous Christmas tree. The hotel has a good breakfast on... More

Beautiful hotel situated two seconds from the famous Charles Bridge, to be perfectly frank, I feel that this is one of the best locations for seing the sights and getting around. The room is large, two twin beds for my son and myself, TV, Coffee/Tea, wardrobe, Desk, lovely bathroom, separate toilet in room, extremely clean. Outside you are in a... More

we stayed at this hotel on Friday nov 21st for one night. Location was good but I was very disappointed to have makup that I purchased on my travels from duty free. When we were leaving the next morning we left our bags at the hotel to just enjoy last few hours of prague. When we got home my friend... More

I picked Hotel Bishop's House by default as all the other dozen hotels I had been eyeing were fully booked - but what a blessing in disguise !!! The hotel is tucked away in the quiet Drazic Square (named after medieval era nationalistic Prague bishop John IV of Drazic), which is just a minute's slow walk from Charles Bridge. From... More

We stayed in Bishop's House hotel in the second half of November. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place. The location is fantastic - you step out of the hotel and you reach the Charles Bridge. The Old Town Square and the tourist sites are all within walking distances. The staff were extremely helpful and that made... More

Located at the foot of the Charles bridge yet tucked down a quiet corner, perfect. The rooms were quiet, warm and the beds comfortable. The (included) breakfast selection is ample and the staff all very pleasant and helpful. Room includes a safe (you are provided with a separate key), fridge, kettle, a large TV and very good free wireless.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
