What a wonderful Hotel, great service from the moment we arrived to leaving, Stunning guest room with all the extras. Breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. The situation of the Hotel was perfect. just a few metres from the Charles Bridge. Would recommend Bishops House to everyone.

a real treat to stay in this very beautifully renovated historical hotel. Everything is great. No artwork on the walls in the rooms, great mattresses, comfortable chairs, great sheets, fantastic huge shower everything is extremely clean. Very refined design details without being kinky. Extremely calm and quiet. Breakfast is terrific, the buffet is offering a huge choice of different things... More

Perfect choice for a long weekend and a first visit to Prague. Great location for popular sites if you want to walk (recommended) or take a tram. Excellent service in the hotel, very friendly and personable - no request was too much trouble (taxis, transport advice, thoughtful restaurant recommendations, bookings etc). Room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable, furnishings... More

Smaller hotel, almost a boutique style, which is definitely good. Location is breathtaking - 20 steps from Charles Bridge on the castle side (which is the better side of the river in my opinion). Modernly furbished pretty rooms, cleanliness is superior. Staff is nice and helpful. The place is accessible by car, however parking is available a bit further away.... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Bishop's House Hotel covering New Years Eve. It was a magic location, just metres to Charles Bridge, a manageable walk to the castle and over the bridge to all the wonderful sights of Prague. Michaela in reception went to a great deal of trouble when our pre booked tour of Prague with hotel... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is lovely. Very clean. Modern. Breakfast is good with hot and cold selections. Lovely pastries. Also prosecco was available at breakfast some mornings😀. The hotel staff are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a slight issue with the lights in our room but the lovely... More

We spent four days at Bishop's House and really enjoyed our stay. The room was large and cozy, and the bathroom was very spacious. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was just perfect, right at the foot of Charles Bridge, and all the main locations and sights are within walking distance. I can definitely recommend this... More

We have spent four days in the Bishop's House and it was simply great. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The best part is of course the location of the hotel since we were directly by the Charles Bridge. The hotel room was very modern and bright with large windows. We will definitely come here again and... More

Very nice hotel. Clean, very helpful and kind staff. Spacious room and bathroom. Please keep in your mind if you get the room n°15 or 16, you have to walk outdoor some meters, because they are located inside the court of the building. Also the breakfast was excellent, a large choice for everyone for my opinion. Just two things: in... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
