I really want to recommend this hotel. Rooms are very nice. The service is wonderful. Marek at the reception is very, very helpful, friendly and fluently in English and Spanish. The included breakfast is very good. The hotel is only a coupe of minutes walking distance to the famous Karls Bridge. Whenever we visit Prague again, this is the place... More

Yes I know, this title has already been used but I thought of it independently. It just shouts at you. A small hotel, in a quiet cul-de-sac, two minutes from the Charles Bridge. Can anything beat that? Add the fact that it has been tastefully, solidly and carefully modernised. Add the gentle, hard-working and considerate staff. Be gentle with them,... More

This is a recently refurbished boutique hotel, located in a cul-de-sac just a short distance from the Charles Bridge. The room had all mod-cons, the bathroom in particular was quite luxurious, the bed was very comfortable, but most of all the location was quiet. The stars of the hotel though are the staff, very pleasant, helpful and friendly...nothing seems too much... I spent a great deal of time looking for the right hotel for this visit to Prague. I had been in Prague before, but it was always for business. This time I was going with my girlfriend and I just wanted to be a fun experience, filled with good restaurants, shopping and site seeing. As I read the reviews for... More

This beautifully renovated hotel is perfectly located for walking around old Prague, just a few meters from the Charles Bridge on the castle side of the city and a ten minute walk to St Nicholas Church (with its wonderful evening organ concerts) where tram 22 takes you up to the castle. The reception staff was welcoming and very helpful arranging... More

The location for this hotel is great and is within easy walking distance for all main attractions. Rooms spotless and only small negative point is that there is no bar within the hotel. The mini bar in the room is very reasonably priced, however it would be nice to have somewhere to sit with a refreshment/coffee other than bedroom. The... More

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The location is incredible and the staff couldn't have been better. Especially Marek. (Excuse the spelling) Will def stay here again. Loved the daily news bulletins at breakfast.

A small but very nice, brand new (renovated) hotel (actually part of the hotel was not totally ready yet), very clean with polite staff. The room decoration as well as bathroom are in minimal style. The breakfast buffet was complete. The location is excellent as the hotel is located at the end of the Charles bridge in Mala Strana (Lesser... More

I stayed in Prague for 3 nights and having chosen Bishop´s House really helped me to save time, money and enjoy most of the wonderful Prague´s attractions. The staff treated us with extreme attention, the breakfast was one of the best I´ve ever tried in Europe and the location couldn´t be better: Nestled in a safe neighborhood, just few steps... More

The hotel was very nice, the location close to Charles Bridge fabulous, but the service was the best. We highly recommend this hotel for price quality, location and service. Next time in Prague wil will stay in this hotel.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
