The hotel was very nice, the location close to Charles Bridge fabulous, but the service was the best. We highly recommend this hotel for price quality, location and service. Next time in Prague wil will stay in this hotel.

Clean, spacious rooms. Good wifi Signal. Friendly staff. We didn't try breakfast but it was a buffet for 100 thai bahts. They have luggage storage that is hassle free and safe. The area is surrounded by restaurants and nightlife all at walking distance that have both locals and foreigners The cafe attached to the lobby has amazing smoothies specially combining... More

Located just at the end of the Charles Bridge. Booked via Expedia, requested two single beds (travelled with my friend). On arrival was given a double - asked if there were 2 singles and was given the top floor HUGE room in the annex, biggest room I've stayed in! Spiral staircase up to the room, it was like our own... This is the 4th time that we have stayed at Bishop's House Hotel and should we be lucky enough to visit Prague again we will definitely stay there again. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the position of the hotel in Prague means that you are central to everywhere. The breakfast was good and plentiful and our... More

This was my 6th visit to Prague and my 3rd stay at Bishop's House Hotel. If I am lucky enough to return to Prague, I hope to stay here again. Bishop's House Hotel is located right beside the Bridge Tower on the Mala Strana side of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle and the Old Town are within easy walking... More

Have just stayed four nights at Bishops Hotel in Prague. Found hotel through trip advisor and thought prices were very reasonable then booked through booking.com. Hotel is in a fantastic location being literally less than 60 meters from the Charles IV Bridge under the shadow of the castle. Hotel is in a little cull-de-sac filled with restaurants including the fantastic... More

We received a nice friendly greeting on our arrival at the hotel, and the receptionist was very helpful and professional in allocating our room and explaining what the hotel had to offer. The double room was very spacious, warm, clean and tidy with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage for clothes and coffee and tea making facilities and a good... More

Having just returned from this hotel - the location is amazing virtually right on Charles Bridge - it's handy for the castle and observation tower which is a must to see - the Christmas markets which are scattered around the city as worth seeing just for the lights and an enormous Christmas tree. The hotel has a good breakfast on... More

The room is large, two twin beds for my son and myself, TV, Coffee/Tea, wardrobe, Desk, lovely bathroom, separate toilet in room, extremely clean. Outside you are in a... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
