Room 101 a tad on the small side; buffet breakfast had excellent availability and choice; staff friendly and helpful; no hospitality tray but free tea/coffee in restaurant from 11am. Located north-east of old town square, approx 15min leisurely walk, 10 mins to Josefov. Bus & train station nearby. Close to river with park on opposite bank (uphill - but great... More

Very central hotel . a short stroll to the old town. The room was well furnished and clean . Buffet Breakfast was varied and filling . Service throughout the hotel was very pleasant and helpful. The close by church bell when we were there ,chimed throughout the night . I would book this hotel again, if returning to Prague.

lovely hotel very central, to all amenities within walking distance. Only slight problem would be no air con in rooms. Hidden taxes when you check out (only a small fee) I don't think anyone gets told about them, good selection of breakfast , fruits & juices

A good location for getting around all the landmarks, Close to trams if you need them. The room was at the back of hotel and quiet, spacious nice shower. Staff were very welcoming and helpful explaining where different places were on the map and the guy on reception even explained what the different beers were before we went to the... More

We were very disappointed with this hotel. When we arrived the man on reception was very unwelcoming and unhelpful (the rest of the staff were better). Our room was very small, it was supposed to be a twin room but the beds were pushed together with very little room to walk around. The bathroom was tired and the toilet was... More

massive error, did not check if they had air conditioning, which they dont so certainly dont go in summer. The day staff behind reception were lovely, really helpful and chatty and upon request gave us their personal recommendations for places to eat and drink. Fantastic venue, so close to key attractions, as well as tube and tram stops on the... More

We stayed from 07/08/15 for 2 nights. I honestly can not praise the staff enough. They were so pleasant and helpful. The receptionist helped us by showing on a map all the good places to go. Very good advice it was aswell. Breakfast was good, room was clean and big enough for the two of us and had good wifi... More

From check in I didnt much like the hotel. Very basic, you pay for what you get! One fair haired chap was pleasant enough, but overall I wasnt that impressed. Advertises a bar in the hotel but it no longer exists, instead you have a mini bar in the room, which the fridge didn't work, rather pathetic, as a nice... More

We were greeted by a very welcoming gentlemen (blonde hair, can't remember name). He was very tentative and gave us a map with markings of where to go! He told us that our room wasn't ready, due to the fact that our flight was early. He offered us a nicer room and told is to come back in an hour... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
