Opera Hotel is a traditional beautiful building in the heart of Prague next to tram stations, metros and Bus stations (to other european cities). The location isn't the only great thing about this hotel, great rooms, like royalty furniture, good varied breakfast and helpful staff... For the price, (we booked early), I can honestly say this was a great hotel... More

I liked the hotel in general. The room I had was large and comfortable with a great price. The room itself oozes Czech old-style yet has modern comfort. The wifi is very good Most staff was helpful, specifically the lady that checked me out was wonderful. The hotel is on the edge of the old city and was for my... More

Possible to get non smoking rooms, nice and clean rooms, but a bit much noise through the window from the main road, simple breakfast but okay. Real close to tram. Real close to old town, take only around 10 - 15 min to walk to center of old town and the Charles Bridge.

Thank you for your guest review. We hope you slept well, despite the noise from the street. Unfortunately we are not able to do anything about it. This is the cost for the location in the city center. More

The old hotel is lovely. Modern facilities and furnishings. Staff were very helpful when we arrived at 07:00hrs after an uncomfortable overnight bus ride from Salzburg. We got into our room hours before we we supposed to. Found the fly over of the road rather noisy from our room with police sirens blaring almost constantly at times. The dining room... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 7 nights when visiting Prague and had a great time! The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty and the food was fresh. Another advantage of this hotel-it was very close to the center and also located only 200 meters from the metro station "Florence".... More

When we first saw pictures of the rooms of the Hotel Opera we were intrigued because they seemed quirky and unique, just a little different from what you normally get. There could, of course, be a fine line between "quirky and unique" and "old and tired" - to our relief, this wasn't so. While obviously not a modern hotel, we... More

This hotel is truly nice. Rooms are spacious and they have a great view. Furniture is amazing! Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was also nice. It was a quite hotel, without any noise, with free wifi and a nice breakfast! What is most important, it was really clean. Heating (since we went there in December) was perfect. It... More

We were a group of 40 who attended dinner at Hotel Opera. The food was very good. The room we were seated in has a lovely mosaic on the main wall. The staff were very friendly. I would visit again given the opportunity.

Hotel location is perfect: close to the center of Prague (5" walk) and Florenc bus station (2" walk). Hotel is very clean, with good sound isolation. Hotel staff speak English, German and Russian. Good breakfast: hot and cold dishes. Free wifi and entrance in fitness/sauna. Hotel has reserved parking slots next to the building.

This is a fab hotel not too far from the centre.... Room was lovely and comfy and the food was really good especially the meals we had in the restaurant. We would definitely go and stay there again ...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
