The Opera Hotel is an old hotel that has been updated. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. Guarded parking is about two blocks away. The hotel is only a 15 or 20 minute walk from the center of old Prague. Overall, this was good value for the... More

The hotel was located 2 minutes from the Florenc metro station. From the outside, the hotel stands out with it's pink architecture. Large, yet quaint, the hotel's staff helped us check in to our rooms with no delay. We wouldn't describe them as friendly, but definitely helpful and willing to assist us in almost anything. The rooms were nice and... More

Reception staff were quite rude, spoke in Czech to each other without looking at you while you ask for assistance, no hellos or goodbyes and quite unhelpful. We asked for a reservation at a restaurant to be made on our behalf and got the run around for 2 days with no one knowing or being very helpful about the reservation.... More

The hotel is very conveniently located at very good competitive prices. The personnel is helpful but sometimes has some difficulty in speaking english - even then they do their utmost to help even if in the typical Czech glum way :-) The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. There is WIFI but on some floors it is a bit... More

A very good hotel with close links to nearby public transport - although travelling to the airport will require a taxi as it is much easier. Easy walk into the historic centre of Prague. Staff are very helpful and friendly. A reasonably sized hotel with an interesting history. Easy walking access to local bars and restaurants.

The Hotel was spotlessly clean. On arrival we were offered the choice of a room with a view of the road, or a quiet room. We chose quiet. This meant a view of the back of a somewhat dilapidated building next door. However, we didn't go to Prague for the view from the hotel, so no problem. Reception was efficient, and... More

Hotel is clean and well suited, very close to the city center. Ease to approach. On the other hand street next to it is rather loud (rooms looking at the bridge with a 2x3 lane street) and sorrounding is broke down. Staff is helpfull, but language is a problem (English, German is a bit better) and they are painfully slow.... More

Hotel Opera is 5 -10 minutes walk from the main attractions and monuments in the centrum. Rooms are clean and quiet, with reasonable size. Small TV in the rooms with limited content. In general is a perfect choice for a weekend in Prague, where you basically spend time around the city and come back to crash. The stuff in reception... More

A beautiful art deco exterior - there is a yellow hotel adjacent and a pastel green across the street - great photo op. Stayed 7 nights in January, not really the peak time for tourism and the place was no where near full. A 5 minute walk to the subway, surface tram is literally right in front of the hotel,... More

Hotel Opera is located near shopping establishments in Prague. It is not in the centermost part of Prague (the one near the Charles Bridge) or beside the Vltava River but it is easy to get there from the hotel via the metro since there is a metro stop nearby. As to the the hotel itself, I found the exterior very... More
