Though it was a little tricky finding it, we enjoyed our stay at Royal Residence Ungelt--it's in a marvelous location, just off the Old Market Square, behind the Tyn Church. The stairs leading up to our room were worn and a bit uneven--so be careful as you carry your suitcases. Our apartment was very spacious with two rooms that had... More

We booked this hotel blindly on Priceline via the expressed deals that stated this was a 4 star hotel and similar to the Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, etc. Let me just say this hotel is not 4 stars, and not similar to a Marriott and I'm surprised by the great reviews this hotel has somehow acquired. I tried to cancel with... More

My friend and I were wiped out from getting flight delay after flight delay to get to Prague. We were so happy when we entered into the room. It was HUGE! It was well decorated. The ceilings seemed like they would never end - so high! I was so happy that I chose this hotel, and I have to admit... More

Really enjoyed our stay at Royal Residence Ungelt. These are more like apartments than regular hotel rooms. Dated in design, but very clean. A bit tough to find the reception, as the entrance is not located on a main street. However, staff were very helpful and friendly, and WiFi worked extremely well. As other reviewers have commented, there is quite... More

Amazing apartment hotel, good price, nice and central, near the Tyn church which is spectacular. Stayed there for 3 days and will recommend in the future. The staff is kind and the rooms are big and well organized

As in the title, i really appreciated the positizion, near the main plaza. The room was very comfortable, but we felt a bit of cold. Great room at that price. Great bathroom and good breakfast. For sure i will come back

The location is excellent. The rooms are not what I would consider 4 star. Light sleepers should avoid this hotel as the pubs and nightlife caused us sleepless nights midweek! Don't be fooled by coffee in room- it's not free. The TV was terrible. The most negative thing about this hotel- the nasty breakfast staff. The lady literally told us... More

Just got back from a long weekend spend in Unglet. Our rooms (2 and 6) were lovely and clean and had everything we could want. It was very reasonably priced and in a brilliant location (just off the old town square) Only downside is with no AC the rooms were very hot but street noise was limited so with windows... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
