Quite disappointed after a 4 days stay in this hotel. Some rooms are not renovated and the hotel will try to put you in, especially if you don't look to business class. Tip: Ask at the reception a GOOD room! The location is not too far from the historical center, but in the night the streets don't look to safe!... more

I will NEVER recommend this to any of my friends!! After a sort of pleasant start to our stay it quickly went downhill from there.... I was locked out of my room and was forced to cough up US $128 (!!!)to pay for a toilet seat i supposedly cracked before i could be let back into my room... The guy... more

Just returned from a midweek break with my mother. Booked a cheap deal with Co-op travel - have always been pleased with their service.Booked taxi transfer from airport with Prague Transfers.eu - English speaking drivers, so no confusion. About £15 each way for up to 4 passengers. Our driver was Canadian, married to a Czech and very pleasant and informative.... more

Basic hotel but clean and comfortable. Nobody mentioned the fact that there is a nightclub (a gentlemans one at that) on the ground floor of the hotel. I hardly got a winks sleep on the Friday and Saturday nights. The beat didn't stop until around 5am. Although quite a good location I would never use this hotel again. more

The hotel is a good base for seeing all of Prague. It is close to two tram stations( Namesti Republicy & Florenc) and on several tram routes and a pleasant ten mins stroll to the old town square. The rooms are warm and comfortable but not posh and the shower room clean and with plenty of hot water and a... more

The hotel is a lovely hotel and not too far from the square where all the bars are. The hotel was very clean and spotless when we checked in and the staff were very friendly in all our questions. There is one lift from the ground floor going to all levels but you have to walk up a couple of... more

Great location - walking distance to a variety of restaurants and Old Town Square. Rooms clean but small and dated - in need of renovations! Breakfast very average too - stale bread and not much variety. Staff helpful but not very friendly. more

Hotel Axa was relatively ok. However the rooms are not airconditioned and the carpet in our room was stained in various places. The bathroom did not have a plug in the sink but the towels were relatively clean, although a bit worn out. Breakfast was buffet and it had a wide choice, however the staff could have been a bit... more
