Ok, but not more. Rooms was not practically furnished. (Small TV screen, no place near the washbasin to hang towels on and we missed chair to sit on). The bar in the reseption area was not cosy. Wifi was unstable and you had to log on every time. We paid for the hotel 4 month before we came.

We were in a good location for walking all over the city, close to Metro, train and tram. The breakfast was a full buffet with many choices. Everything was freshly made and constantly restocked. Wonderful exercise facilities. The staff was friendly and the hotel was locally owned.

Staff good. Minimalist decor. Breakfast could be improved, "hot" food buffet was lukewarm, cakes dry. Good selection of bread/rolls. Wifi needs addressing. One had to constantly log in which is annoying.

We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect! Great location, friendly staff from all departments, good breakfast and everything very clean. Just on check out I felt the lady a little bit rude. She said the amount to pay and when we ask to see to bill she answered with a question "you do not know the rate... More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Axa and was very satisfied with that choice. The hotel was newly renovated, and the room had real nice, functional interiors, and a lovely, big bathroom. The bathroom did not stand back for any other bathrooms in much more luxurious hotels. The beds were ok, and we all slept well. The breakfast was ok... More

We very appreciate your feedback and are happy that you enjoyed your stay in Prague. You are right that the swimming pool is convenient for swimmers not for kids to have fun. It is 25 m long with no kids attraction. It is free if you book our hotel direct. Thank you very much. More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had everything we needed. Shower was wonderful, breakfast was tasty, and we were at walking distance from the main tourist attractions. It was a little bit noisy because of the tram, but not a big problem. TVs are small, but that wasnt a problem for us. Maybe the only bad critic... More

In the center of Prague, this hotel offers relatively good value for the price. The architecture is cold but interesting, for sure not romantic. We had a large, clean functional room that was recently refurbished. The windows gave a view to a narrow courtyard surrounded by other buildings. There was not a lot of storage space for our clothes, so... More

We spent few days in Prague for our winter holiday trip. We had decided to stay in AXA hotel due to its location in Prague downtown. The hotel is up to two kilometers, cca 20 minutes on foot from all atractions chosen by us. That was very important because we had planned to visit old town, castle area, etc. so... More

The location was good, but glad we did some research. We brought our own kettle with Tea & Coffee, cups etc. (lidl is close by to buy milk). The room was generally clean but basic.(No wardrobe) Note: TALL PEOPLE BEWARE: if you are 6'5" or taller you might struggle with the beds. The breakfast was a free for all -... More

For a weekend break this hotel was fine; we were a short walk from the centre and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because a) the description said "lounge area" - this turned out to be a TV on the wall above a small table next to a single chair. b)... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
