Our room was clean, tidy with a great sound isolation which was important for relaxation after a long day of walking. The room also has a kettle and a variety of tea bags, that was also nice after a long day. Good shower. comfortable bed( however not double or twin, just two beds pushed together). The staff was professional and... More

Very good location, only 6 minuts walk from the mall. Good transportation right at the door or within 150 meters. Nicely recently renovated. The only disedvantage I found is the tiny TV on the wall with no English channel. Dispite this minor note everithing else was perfect, with courteous smily service above all

Good hotel in the standard US blu line like Holiday Inn Express, excellent breakfast for european and US guys. Market in front, bus stop 10 meters, subway 4 minutes. Close to the center town no more 10 minutes walk. Just one big problem in summer time : no air conditioned in the room, suites included! I asked for a fan... More

Thank you very much for your review. It is true that as a 3 star hotel we do not have airconditioning. We hope that you enjoyed your stay in Prague despite the unsually hot weather. Thank you. More

The hotel is in a good location, we walk from and to the main train station, when arrived to and departed from Prague. It is within walking distance (10 mins) to the old Town Square. Hotel clean. Room spacious. Interior and furniture are in a good state. The room could do with a wardrobe or something to unpack clothes into.... More

Great location near Republic Square. Basic room but very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic & staff very friendly. Easy walk to Republic Square with many shops around the area. Easy access to hop on hop off buses. Beds were comfortable, tea & coffee facilities, clean bathroom. Good value for your money.

I stayed 1 night at Axa hotel in June 2015. My experience is good. Location - very close to the city center (15 minutes on foot to the Old Town Square). Hotel is after a total renovation that is why rooms are modern, simple - but having 3 important elements for me: comfortable bed, free wifi and coffee and tea... More

Very good location, only 10 minutes from everything. Reception very attentive and helpful. Rooms Spartan but for the price ok. Beds comfortable, no problem. Breakfast is ordinary - probably one of the worst I have experienced in the whole of the North East of Europe (or anywhere for that matter). But that is not that important, really.. I went across... The staff at the reception was very friendly and nice. However the wifi was not working which was a big issue. The breakfast was not good as there was hardly anything that was warm or hot. There was nowhere mentioned which was what so there was huge difficulty in separating out the vegetarian items.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
