Had a wonderful time at the Hoffmeister in March 2014. It was a great little find, with fab service and atmosphere. Also opted for the 7 course tasting menu, which is worth a try. Would definitely recommend.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Prague for 4 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Hoffmeister is a gorgeous little boutique hotel, that has a lot going for it. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was really enjoyable, with quite a wide range of selection, and the location was good as well,... More

The Hoffmeister is located on "the other side" of the old town of Prague, at the bottom of the stairs to the Palace. It is a cosy hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately, it is also right on a main through road, including a tram that squeeches around the narrow curves. Make sure to ask for a (smaller) room away from... More

Cozy hotel in heart of Prague. Walking distance from city center. Few steps from Charles Bridge, Old Town, Prague Castle Area, etc. Amazing atmosphere and stylish and artistic interior. Fantastic service. Garage available because not enough parking outside.

The hotel is not really that impressive from the outside and to be honest I think it does need a lick of paint. Inside is a different matter, the reception is quite small but neat and tidy and well presented. The staff are very helpful and really polite. The bar and eating area's are very nice and the breakfast superb,... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
