My Wife and I stayed here March 21st -24th, we were collected at the airport as arranged with the Hotel on time and with no fuss, The Hotel is situated near the top of a steep hill so may not suit anyone with mobility issues, When we arrived at the Hotel we were pleasantly surprised to be given a free... Stayed for 3 nights 5th March to 8th March. The Hoffmeister is ideally located for exploring the beautiful old town of Prague - very close to Charles Bridge, but peaceful. Staff couldn't be more helpful, friendly yet unobtrusive. Spa is lovely, breakfast excellent, location perfect. Room big enough and airy, bathroom clean and good. Smallish boutique type hotel. Didn't get... More

we stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms as there was some work in progress in their terrace and we woke up at 7.50am from loud noise(unacceptable for a 5 star hotel to create such situations as the works didnt seem to be related to any emergency). second night we changed room, a little better, but this one was cold... Dear Vlad, Thank you for your feedback. We read regret that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Indeed there is a construction work going on our summer terrace which is about to be finished by 25th March 2015. The reconstruction resulted from a technical issue that we experienced. The workers do start after 8 AM CET and I... More

Hotel Hoffmeister is a superb Hotel in a good location. Outside the center of Prague but close enough to walk to easily. the rooms were spacious enough, service was better than average, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Only problem we had with our stay was I upgraded to a junior suite with the spa package. In the... More

We found an incredibly available staff, very well-mannered. You get your luggage brought in from the very entrance, they can keep it for you, and a welcome drink awaits you in the hall. The position is convenient for the castle but is a bit outside the city center, and the street facing some apartments is quite noisy, but the quality... More

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, we arrived on the early flight so our room was not ready after apologising they offered to store our bags and gave us a map of the town and a route to follow for a lovely walk around Prague. We came back at 3:00pm where we were taken into the lounge given... More

This is an excellent hotel with friendly, attentive but unobtrusive staff and great facilities. On arrival we were greeted with a complimentary drink and then joined by a manager who gave us information on the hotel, Prague in general and what to see. It is about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town Square and is situated at the foot... More

We would really recommended hiring out the private steam cave and Roman bath. It was a really great experience, enjoyed with a bottle of fiz! They were late getting us in for our booking which meant we had to wait (and then buy a drink) in the bar which was quite overpriced. We had a gorgeous meal there after our... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
