First off this city is amazingly beautiful! It's like stepping back in time to the mid evil days! The architecture, the people, the food and the music are amazing! This hotel was great! The staff was so friendly! Right when we got there they took our bags for us and had us sit on the patio with champagne while we... More

My wife and I stopped at the Hoffmeister Hotel while on a four day sight seeing visit to Prague. It was well situated at the foot of Prague Castle and a short walk from the the Old Town and Charles Bridge. The room was spacious, well furnished and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the garden... More

Spent 2 days here on business. Superb hotel. Great rooms. Good service excellent food. Close to town but far enough away to be away from the crowds. Well located within easy distance of the metro and trams. Superb spa facilities reasonably priced. If you get the chance then stay here.

Excellent service. We arrived sweaty and exhausted after taking the wrong trolley line on the hottest day of the year. The hotel staff served us cold chardonnay while they registered our passports and took the luggage up to our air-conditioned room. The location couldn't be better, just below the castle, 50 meters from the trolley yet incredibly quiet. Fantastic breakfast.

I had the pleasure of staying here last weekend. 3 relaxing nights in a good standard hotel for the price. I've been to Prague more than 50 times and know the city better than my home town, I've stayed in many of its hotel, too varied and long ago to review. The Hoffmeister is an excellent choice for those wanting... More

We were really pleased. The location near one of the bridges to the old city was great. We got a very efficient driver to take us from the airport and back who was hired by the hotel. The staff were polite and efficient, and had excellent English. Our rooms were splendid and air conditioned. Breakfast was delicious, with a large... More

Used this spa a few times. Great value, very friendly staff. The spa includes an underground cave steam room and a jacuzzi. Both are very relaxing plus the spa package includes a bottle of Sekt, water and fruit. This is a great way to relax and unwind in a lovely part of Prague.

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend a good friends' wedding and I initially thought the hotel was "far" from the main square, but the walk to town was beautiful as we admired the amazing architecture along the way. It's closely situated near the palace and away from the crowds, which helped as it is tourist season. Breakfast was... More

I was fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which was very nice and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful - they had my bags up to my room before i knew it (which was a good thing, as it is necessary to take more than one elevator to reach many rooms). Location is walkable to the old town and... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
