We stayed here for 6 nights in a wonderful large room with breakfast daily.Hotel very well located close to Castle District and about 20 minutes walk across a bridge to old city area.We would defiinitely stay here again should we be lucky enough to have the chance to visit Prague another time.

Used this spa a few times. Great value, very friendly staff. The spa includes an underground cave steam room and a jacuzzi. Both are very relaxing plus the spa package includes a bottle of Sekt, water and fruit. This is a great way to relax and unwind in a lovely part of Prague.

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend a good friends' wedding and I initially thought the hotel was "far" from the main square, but the walk to town was beautiful as we admired the amazing architecture along the way. It's closely situated near the palace and away from the crowds, which helped as it is tourist season. Breakfast was... More

I was fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which was very nice and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful - they had my bags up to my room before i knew it (which was a good thing, as it is necessary to take more than one elevator to reach many rooms). Location is walkable to the old town and... More

I admit that, at first, I was slightly reluctant in booking this hotel because, on the outside, it hardly looks like a five star property and, on top of that, it looks scarily small. That's until you figure out the fact that the hotel actually consists of 3 or 4 connected houses and, therefore, it's much larger than it looks... More

Excellent hotel. very well situated, 2 minutes from the underground and 10 minutes walk from downtown. Might not look like a 5 star hotel fro, outside but simply stunning inside with a lovely garden. Staff went above and beyond and breakfast was excellent. Room spotless (maybe a tad small for 5 star but that is really nitpicking). When I am... More

We absolutely loved staying at the Hotel Hoffmeister! It was in a great location in a great city. Both rooms that we stayed in were charming, clean and very quiet. The breakfast was wonderful...sumptuous, fresh and included in the room! We especially enjoyed drinking our cappuccinos in the backyard on the swing...very romantic. But, the best thing about stay was... More

This is an excellent small hotel within walking distance to the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and the old city. It is 2 mins. walk to the metro and there are trams stops almost in front of the hotel. Check in was a breeze and we were invited to sit down in the patio and had a welcome drink there which... More

This was me and my partners second stay at the Hoffmeister and, once again, our stay was faultless. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to all the sites of old town, but it is out of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, with... More

Good location for sightseeing, most things walkable and the metro station was just over the road. Hotel was comfortable, but spa staff not very helpful or welcoming. Spa is only free to guests in the mornings.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
