this is a perfectly nice, american-style hotel. not charming at all, very corporate, but really nothing to complain about. the room was nice, the service fine. the front desk staff very accommodating. the food in the restaurant is so- so, there are much better options, just a few minutes walk away at 70% less per meal. go out and explore,... Even before arriving we discovered the excellent service of the hotel staff: our mail with some enquiries was answered immediately, and we were even sent some photographs! We had a beautiful 'Renaissance' room, looking out upon the street; very comfortable, with a king size bed, and two easy chairs. (And a great deal: three nights for the price of two!).... More

After a busy trip to Berlin, our second stop on our European adventure found us in Prague. When we got off the train, we made our way to the Four Seasons and were warmly greeted by their staff. We decided to eat there and it was a good decision.

This hotel lives up to the Four Seasons reputation. The common areas are beautiful and the service very good. Having come from the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest with a river view, I was slightly disappointed in our room, despite the fact that it was large with a walk-in closet! Next time I would upgrade to a river here... More

Great location, just a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge and on the river and a few minutes walk from the main square in Prague. The room was a good size, very nice décor, stylish and quite modern. A large TV, complimentary coffee machine, Asprey toiletries. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and I got a great nights sleep.... More

Have stayed in the hotel previously and this time was no different. Quiet and unassuming right on the river, maybe a block from the Charles Bridge on the Old Town side. The flowers in the lobby are absolutely stunning. Front desk is incredibly efficient and the concierge without equal. Rooms are luxurious. The view from the area outside the restaurant,... More

This is one of the truly great hotels in Europe. The location on the river with spectacular views of the Charles Bridge is only surpassed by the finest service I have had in years. The hotel is gorgeous, discreet and still caters to individual travelers. It is an oasis in a bustling city.

The hotel is a genuine 5 star one with exquisite decor, cosy and bright rooms, convenient location and exceptionally helpful staff. We stayed in mid-June with our 2 young children, and I can only rave about the customer service at the hotel. From Shaun in reservations, to Jana at the front desk, to Jan at the bar, everyone was kind and eager to please. Little gifts were left for our daughters in the room and bath, and the staff went out... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
