I had low expectations of this hotel from the reviews I read, almost all of which were negative (it was booked by my husband's work), but I wanted to say that I thought it was lovely and we had a lovely stay. The location is second to none - right on the Charles Bridge. Our room was 70EU, so not... more

The hotel location is the best thing about it. It is right next to the Charles Bridge and about two blocks from a tram stop and about five blocks from a metro stop. The hotel itself is fine but not of the best quality. I was on the third floor and the lack of elevator made things difficult with those... more

The Hotel U Tri Pstrosu is situated right on the end of the Charles Bridge on the Castle side Everywhere is within walking distance, both the Castle side and the Old town Square which is on the other side of the bridge together with the main attractions i.e. the astronomical clock, the powder tower etc. Even wenceslas square which is... more

The rooms in the hotel must vary a lot . The one we stayed in was small and on the 4th floor with no views of Charles Bridge. It was nothing like the hotel photos. There are NO LIFTS!, so we had "fun" dragging our heavy suitcases up 4 flights of stairs! The tub would take a long time to... more

Booked this hotel on the basis of the photos of the rooms but found that these were all of de-luxe rooms and as such misrepresented the general standard of the hotel. We had a standard room (no mention of this difference on the booking form ) which was very small and made smaller by a huge fan which was the... more

I was booked into this hotel from an other hotel, because there a pipe broke and put my room under water. I knew the hotel from staying there in Dec. 2007 and didn't had it in good memory because being very noicy. Now, I had a room on the top floor which is OK, because the noice from tourists walking... more

We had a huge room--No 14 during out stay. This room was very very spacious and comfortable for the 3 of us. It is also good that its on the 2nd floor, which means we do not have to climb the stairs with our heavy luggages. Breakfast had a good mix of cold and warm food, and we could even... more

Stayed here over Christmas and it was wonderful. The only downside was even though we had booked a Deluxe room we were given the one on the top floor which was hardly deluxe in comparison to the rooms on the other floors - i know this as i climbed the stairs several times a day [no lift - it was... more

6 night stay in February 2008. Excellent. Beautiful property, clean and well maintained. Helpful staff (English speaking). Lovely room, comfortable with large bathroom. Very good breakfast (included) w/cold meats, cheese, full English breakfast there for the taking, juices, breads, cereals, jams, milk, coffee and tea. What more could you want? Perfect location at the base of the Charles Bridge. Within... more
