We stayed at the Unitas for a week, in the middle of January. We've stayed in this part of town before, and found it to be perfectly placed for getting around. It's five or ten minutes from the Old Town Square, close to the river, and easy to find your way back after an evening out. We had a room... More

Booked this hotel for a weekend, and the staff phoned me back to advise me that the room I had booked was too small to have a cot put in -- would I like a larger one? I said yes, and when we arrived, they gave us a family suite at no additional expense. They put toys in the cot,... More

This is a great hotel located within a couple of minutes of the tram and National Theatre. All sights are within 10 minutes walk or so apart from the castle, catch the 22 tram and then walk down. There are tea and coffee stations on every floor, a glass of fizz on arrival and cakes in the afternoon We were... More

I had a pleasant stay at the Unitas Hotel during my trip to Prague in October, 2014. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating - always greeting us with smiles as we entered and more than willing to provide suggestions when needed. The room, while nothing fancy, was a decent size and had everything we needed, including free wifi which... More

I visited Prague in October 2014, and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel that we booked. We were greeted by the staff upon arrival, and given plenty of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The hotel itself has some history, having been a former convent of grey sisters. The breakfast was included in the stay. There was... More

From the moment we walked through the door of the hotel until the time e left the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The hotel is spotless.Breakfast was really good, eggs cooked to how you like, plenty of choice everything fresh. Our room faced the courtyard and was quiet but i don't think there would be a... I'm very pleased I chose the Unitas for a Christmas break. The hotel is very conveniently situated (in a quiet, but not very pretty, street) for walking to the sights and for catching the Number 22 tram up to the Castle and to the Loreta. All the staff I met were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The hotel is atmospheric in... More

My husband, six month old baby and I just finished our four night stay at the Unitas hotel. We had a family suite, which was very practical and convenient. The hotel itself is very comfortable and extremely well situated in the city, within easy walking distance of most sights and a direct tram ride away from the castle. The breakfast... More

We were here for a short break over Thanksgiving, and this will be a short review as really everything about Unitas was perfect. We had a standard double room, which was spacious (even by US standards) with high ceilings, and quiet although it faced the street. A very good breakfast was included. Helpful staff, reasonable internet and a good location... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
