We had the honeymoon suite for 5 nights. It was huge and absolutely spotless! The air conditioner was top notch as it was definitely needed, because it was in the 90's (Fahrenheit) during our stay. The staff throughout the hotel was world class. Enough has been said about the breakfast bar and it's all true....excellent. Location was convenient to everything... More

The reviews were great for this hotel and let me say it was even better than what I expected. From the staff to the room to breakfast. Everything was just perfect. Should be a five star boutique hotel. Very nice touches all throught.

Once a convent, once secret police HQ, on a quiet street and with thick walls, Unitas was soooo comfy! They put me in a large room, with adjoining sitting room with kitchenette and a large bathroom. Such luxury at a good price! In the heat wave, their air conditioning was much appreciated. Soft soothing music in the breakfast room, good... More

We had a great stay at Unitas. Very quiet, extremely clean and great breakfast. Location is excellent for seeing most anything in Prague. My only very small complaint would be the thin towels and sheets. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again.

Not so nice street, but, you have the beautiful prague around you in 1 min. I love the hotel breakfast, the ladies at the reception, the room concept, nice... More

Also this time, Tripadvisor was the right answer. I only depended on those reviews already written about this hotel. Easy to find the hotel from the metro station, very close to the main tourist places. Mots of all, staffs were so kind and brilliant.

Had one night at Unitas. Hotel has interesting history having been a convent and more recently Secret Police HQ in the communist era. Hotel is in an uninspiring but quiet street close to everything. Staff were very welcoming and room and bed very comfortable Breakfast was a treat with a choice of fruits, breads, pastries and hot food

Great hotel. Small building with large rooms. Was traveling with my sister and had asked for two beds - our room had two rooms with a bed each and we shared the the largest hotels washroom I have ever seen. The hotels used to be a nuns residence and is quaint. It is just off a main street and is... More

I have just returned from a 3 day stay in this hotel. This hotel is a real gem. The rooms are big, well furnished and immaculately clean. The staff are welcoming, very helpful and extremely friendly. We were greeted at check-in with a chilled glass of sparkling wine. The location is perfect for Charles Bridge and the old town. This... More

Hotel Unitas provides the perfect blend of a small boutique hotel, great value, perfect location, wonderful rooms and amazing staff. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I was impressed by the clean, modern feel of the rooms. Fast internet, amazingly large bathrooms, etc. Excellent!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
