Unitas has clean , comfortable, modern rooms in a historic property. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is beautiful, the service is attentive, and there is a great selection of fresh and tasty food. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Charles Bridge and a 4 minute walk from Trams 22, 9, and 18.... More

Overall, this was a great hotel. It was located on the edge of the Old Town on a quiet street one block off a main road with tram buses. It was convenient for visiting the major sites (Charles Bridge, town square, Prague castle tram was one block away) but also for going into the less touristy parts of Prague. The... More

I first stayed here in 1995 when it was Pension Unitas and liked it then, even though it was merely a backpackers hostel, albeit with a history, since Vaclav Havel was imprisoned here when it served as a prison. I returned last year on the recommendation of a colleague and was so glad I did. I returned again last week... More

...this place is simply the best! Let me start out with saying that we are not Four Seasons style travelers. Three and four stars are perfectly fine for us. But we have stayed at the Albergo del Senato in Rome and Locando Orseolo in Venice - both very highly ranked on Tripadvisor. On four previous road trips to Europe (Italy... More

Everything at the hotel is exactly as pictured on their Web site. The buffet breakfast was fabulous! My husband the picky eater loved it. Front desk staff members speak English, and they are very helpful in navigating public transportation and providing information and suggestions. Rooms and public areas are clean, clean, clean. And, the location is convenient to everything you... More

We were fortunate enough to stay in the UNITAS from 18/7/14 until 22/7/14. The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean and have EVERYTHING you need. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is clean, well positioned and very elegant, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Breakfast is amazing, offering something for everyone.... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, 28th and 29th July 2014. First impressions from the outside was a modern clean hotel. The reception team was very friendly and very welcoming. A surprise offer of a welcome drink. The hotel was within 10 mins walk of all the main attractions in Prague and you can walk almost everywhere. we... More

Very nice hotel - small, simple yet sophisticated. I love the location because it's so much quieter than others by the hustling and bustling streets. The welcome drinks are very nice considering I haven't seen my friend for a while and we got reunited at the hotel lobby and caught out with sparkling wine. Would recommend to others.
