Such a nice little hotel. So happy we stayed away from the old town. This place is lovely and quiet but only a short walk from all the main tourist attractions. The front desk staff were very helpful recommending restaurants etc. Although simple, the room was perfect. Always clean, the bed was so comfortable, I had the best night sleep... More

Lovely hotel with friendly staff near the old town. Beds very comfortable with soft pillows and duvet. A bit unusual to have 2 single duvets on a double bed but it was ok. The hotel was warm even though it was very cold outside. On arrival we were given a glass of wine at reception and there was a warm... More

The hotel is on a quiet street, just on the edge of the old town, central for just about everything and very handy for the tram. We stayed a similar time last year and nothing much has changed. There's still a very welcoming reception on arrival with a glass of fizz. There are cakes around 4.00pm. The staff on reception... More

I have visited a number of hotels in Prague, but is the best one by far. Located at 5min walk from the Old Town and 2 min walk from metro station and shopping centre. Hidden away in small street across police station. Friendly reception, helpful and good command of the English language. Nice welcome drink and information on the town.... More

We spent two nights at the Unitas Hotel in January and were delighted with it. We got a warm welcome on arrival and were offered Prosecco as our welcome drink, which we didn't refuse... wouldn't like to be rude! Our room was larger than normal and the bathroom was also very spacious. Everything was spotless. Breakfast is excellent. There is... More

We stayed three nights at Unitas and couldn't be more pleased. It is in walking distance to everything and sits on a side street away from traffic. Upon our arrival we received a complimentary drink while the front desk took his time explaining where good restaurants were and the best way to see the city...take tram 22 up to the... More

Great location with easy walking distance to restaurants & city sights. Good sized room with clean, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfadt. Only minor negative would be tea/coffe down the hallway rather than in room. Great value for mobey.

I stayed at this hotel a few days ago and was so pleased. Great location, really friendly staff. The hotel is clean, cozy and charming. Less than 10 minute walk to Old Town Square. They also work with a car service in case you need transportation to the airport etc. Will stay there again!

The hotel is a converted convent and KGB jail which they've made into a hotel. The rooms are nicely finished, and modern, while still protecting the historical beauty of the building. The sparkling wine at check in was a really nice touch, and all of the staff who helped me during my stay were all really nice. The included breakfast... More

My partner booked a weekend away to Prague for my birthday and we stayed in the Unitas hotel. When we arrived at the hotel there was a glass of champagne waiting for us, it couldn't be any better. An amazing hotel to stay in for a birthday weekend. The staff were really friendly and spoke really good English. If we... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
