This boutique hotel has a lot going for it. It's within walking distance of all the sights without being too close to the busy streets. By Prague standards its a bit more expensive than most but well worth the extra. Breakfast is good too - apart from the coffee.

I stayed here back when it was still a Pension/Hostel. I know that it has changed to a hotel now. I can't say what the hotel is like now, but I can say that this place is in one of the best locations in the city! It is just a block away from Tesco where you can get all kinds... More

Very enjoyable stay at Unitas Hotel. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom (although the bed was a little hard). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (and also very attractive!!), from the champagne on arrival to helping direct us to a good local bar. There's a good selection on offer at the buffet breakfast. For LGBT travellers, the... More

This hotel ticked all the boxes, fantastic location, very well appointed, quiet but central location. Bedrooms large airy and warm with very comfy beds and a bathroom that lacked nothing. Reception staff exceptionally helpful, tea and coffee on demand at self service areas on each floor. Breakfast faultless with loads of choice and good quality. We got the hotel to... More

Location, service, breakfast, value for money and overall experience all lead to outstanding. Everything about the hotel was great... the best part was their breakfast which I would give a ten. Fresh and quality ingredients served with ultimate professionalism by the fantastic and extremely hospitable staff - awesome brekkie!!!! The hotel is a ten minute walk to the clock square... More

The only reason we stayed here was because the Agnes Hotel was booked for the next six months (tip, call Agnes Hotel directly and don't rely on online info). The only memorable thing about this place is the welcome drink of nice champagne and breakfast (included). Pros: -Room spotless -Breakfast options wonderful (light and dark honey, omelette or crepe, variety... More

You could not ask for any more in a hotel - excellent location quiet but very central; charming staff who could not do any more to help; large, clean rooms and lovely breakfast which was slightly different each day but always included copious quantities of coffee. I would very happily go back again anytime and maybe the piano will have... More

I am a really nervous traveller, in fact, I don't like going on holiday. There are few hotels where I feel at home, but this is one of them. It is close to the city, so the 'commute' is short, but the street is so quiet, I never heard any road noise. March isn't exactly in season, but the hotel... More

Trip advisor was right about this hotel, which is very well located in the old town in walking distance of the important sights. The room is spacious, even the bathroom is large. It is very quiet overall with in the patio parking for an extra fee. The room wifi works well. The breakfast has especially wide selection This is a... More

Loved it! Stayed in what used to be a prison cell that's been renovated in a wonderful transformation. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Service was all smiles and extremely helpful. Location is a huge plus.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
