The only reason we stayed here was because the Agnes Hotel was booked for the next six months (tip, call Agnes Hotel directly and don't rely on online info). The only memorable thing about this place is the welcome drink of nice champagne and breakfast (included). Pros: -Room spotless -Breakfast options wonderful (light and dark honey, omelette or crepe, variety... More

You could not ask for any more in a hotel - excellent location quiet but very central; charming staff who could not do any more to help; large, clean rooms and lovely breakfast which was slightly different each day but always included copious quantities of coffee. I would very happily go back again anytime and maybe the piano will have... More

I am a really nervous traveller, in fact, I don't like going on holiday. There are few hotels where I feel at home, but this is one of them. It is close to the city, so the 'commute' is short, but the street is so quiet, I never heard any road noise. March isn't exactly in season, but the hotel... More

Trip advisor was right about this hotel, which is very well located in the old town in walking distance of the important sights. The room is spacious, even the bathroom is large. It is very quiet overall with in the patio parking for an extra fee. The room wifi works well. The breakfast has especially wide selection This is a... More

Loved it! Stayed in what used to be a prison cell that's been renovated in a wonderful transformation. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Service was all smiles and extremely helpful. Location is a huge plus.

Perfect hotel for exploring the delights of Prague. We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel to be close enough to everything to be able to walk to, eg Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square etc. All staff in the hotel were really polite, helpful and efficient. We requested a quiet room and did not hear a sound... More

Absolutely brilliant hotel, From Veronika's smiling supervision of breakfast to the night receptionist I could not fault my experience. If I return to Prague I will certainly stay here again. Peace and quiet obtained right through the weekend we stayed there, a welcome drink of sparkling wine was served with a smile, as was every query - they even supplied... More

Unitas hotel lived up to all of amazing reviews. We stayed for 4 nights in a spacious room overlooking courtyard. We requested a quiet room and in spite of hotel being close to all amenities we did not hear a sound all night. Staff were polite and helpful and we were delighted to be welcomed on our arrival with complimentary... More

Attentive, friendly service from all staff. Good location for access to old town sights, night-life and shopping. Pretty good breakfast including cook-to-order crepes and omelettes. Attractive public areas, but let down by very ordinary furnishings in the rooms and very slow WiFi. Paid 119 Euros with breakfast.

We spotted an advert in a national newspaper and then checked it out on line. Hotel has a long and involved history and is now neither a convent nor a jail. The hotel lives upto and frequently exceeds its advertising. Nothing to complain about; every aspect of their offering is to be praised. Great location, quiet but pretty central, not... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
