We spent Easter at the Best Western Meteor in Prague, and found the location ideal, right near the Powder Tower and Old Town and 2 mintutes walk to the metro. Online booking was easy, and the room was ready as promised. The hotel itself may be very old, but there's no evidence of that; it looks like a modern hotel,... more

This hotel has been well reviewed so I just wanted to add a few points. I booked a single room and was a bit surprised to actually get a single room! In this age of,"Flat pack hotels," The conversion of this period building makes for some single room spaces. I have no complaint about the room, it was quirky. If... more

We stayed two nights with a rate that included breakfast. Our room (we booked a standard room) was quite large. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in our rate which was nice. The location is great as you are only about a 5 minute walk to the Old Square. The only negative... more

This hotel is in a brilliant location - just 5 minutes from Old Town square and 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square. Better still, it was only 2 minutes from the swish new Palladium shopping precinct and its restaurants, a great supermarket and the metro stop in Republic Square. Despite its close proximity to all this, it was extremely quiet, restful... more

The hotel was ideally situated being only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a wide range of food available for breakfast and we also had an enjoyable meal in the hotel restaurant. We travelled from the airport to the hotel by bus... more

Myself + 5 friends stayed here for long weekend in Sept. It was necessary to book using 3 different credit cards on website as this website booking procedures discourages groups. Staff are very efficient and friendly, we booked a double room, twin room and Treble, all rooms perfectly fine, roomy, extra large bathrooms, stocked mini bar , comfy beds, great... more

This hotel is a good base for exploring the town. Only a few minutes walk away from the old town square and at the end of the road is one of the ornate powder towers. Staff were polite, room was clean and to a resonable standard. We booked this hotel through a group trip and got a discount on the... more

Pretty much what we'd expected from a smaller European hotel in this category. The lobby and the rooms are quite a bit smaller than they look in the photos and a little worn but very clean and comfy, with nice traditional furniture. At breakfast there was a wide selection of cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries, bread and a few... more

Stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very well situated, on a quiet street, near the Old Town Square. Very clean, in a historic building with character. We liked having our breakfast in a pleasant outside courtyard with a fountain. The breakfast is buffet style and includes some interesting dishes and fresh fruit. The sauna and... more

The location is great. Prague is relatively small and easy to get around anyway, but this hotel is a short walk from the old town square and is well placed for exploring all Prague's attractions. The hotel is rather dated and has a lousy bar downstairs. The room was adequate and was clean, but not great value for money. Overall,... more
