This Hotel is located in a nice and quiet region. Facilities are nice, with reasonable quality furniture and clean. Comforting, and the medieval atmosphere is awesome... The location of this hotel enables visiting the Castle, old bridge and city center by foot.

We stayed at the Hotel Kampa in the old town 9 years ago and at the time were very impressed so booked again. Whilst I would still recommend the Kampa the hotel is not near as good as it was. Public areas, hallways are starting to look shabby and need repaintingq and new carpets. On arrival we were given a... More

Stayed three nights May '15. I like this place, it's pretty old school, which I like and the furnishings are slightly dated (actually I also like that). Idiosyncratic breakfast room with knight paraphernalia everywhere.Hotel has a good location, tucked away. I would say however that the breakfast room has a bit of a high-volume-pensioners-holiday-camp vibe. The plates, bowls and cups... More

The hotel is only a few mins away from the famous Karlovy most. The rooms are clean, taken care off. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful and efficient. The only reason that I didn't put a 5 score is because of the beds (which I find too hard) and pillows (maybe add a softer feather pillow). Thank you very much... More

Really great hotel with amazing interior. Very good service and breakfast. The beds were a bit hard so I give it 4.5 of 5. Softer beds would make 5. I most certainly recommend this hotel, beautifully located near the river. Walking distance to all the important places one want to visit.

Lovely hotel. I booked it after reading other positive reviews on Tripadvisor a surprise break for my wife's birthday. Good comfortable bedroom, clean and modern bathroom. Free wi-fi also included. Breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is in Mala Strana and a very short walk away from the 2 main bridges that take you to the old and new towns.

My husband booked the trip without my knowledge and I wasn't disapointed. When we reached the hotel, I was thinking omg, however, it was perfect in every way. We weren't very far from the castle but at the same time we were very close to the old and new town. Both were walking distance. The hotel offered a variety of... More

The sun shone brightly though our window as we looked out over Kampa Park and the Vltava River. The room was perfectly sized with English TV, and all the amenities you could need. The shower is efficient in size but the water pressure was refreshing and just the right temperature. Centrally located with on site parking.

The name of the neighbourhood, Lesser Town, may subconsciously put you off but this area has everything going for it. I arrived on a bitterly cold night and found a warm inviting inn with some surreal décor. The hotel is situated on a narrow cobbled street which keeps heavy traffic away leaving a quiet peaceful corner to rest after a... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
