We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and had an great experience. The service at the hotel was excellent, the room was spacious and neat and we really enjoyed the included breakfast buffet. Overall excellent!

I checked out yesterday and I need to write a review for this hotel! we stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I was lucky to be upgraded to a better room which I didn't know at the first time, but I realized the room was more greater than I thought, and I found out later we got upgraded. So... More

We recently stayed here for two nights on a trip to Prague and we were so happy with the hotel, it's become a big part of our "Prague stories." The view was magical - we could see almost 180 degree of the city, and I mean the best parts of the city, including the castle. It was a short walk... More

We stayed in a "Superior" room (so the basic room, as there is nothing lower) and it was compact but comfortable. Bed was soft and enormous pillows softer still. A bit too soft for me but my wife and daughter (stayting down the hall) loved it and said it was a superb sleep. Rooms were a bit hot (even with... More

Chose the hotel on 2 counts, the location and review status and we're pleased we did. We chose an executive room, having booked directly with the hotel. Ate in the hotel on arrival evening, excellent meal. The breakfasts were very very good, catering for all tastes. The room itself was large, comfortable and well equipped, no faults. All in all... The GHB really was the perfect hotel for our recent break to Prague. The location close to the Tyn church was ideal, meaning we could get everywhere we wanted to go on foot, even the castle (~30 minute walk). Whilst close to the action, it does however sit in a relatively quiet, upmarket corner of town and the general ambience... More

The Grand Hotel Bohemia did us proud for our 50 something wedding anniversary. The de-luxe room was appointed accordingly, and we had a view from our window which was no less pleasing, especially as it overlooked the Gold Praline Chocolate shop opposite the hotel. The service is outstanding and from our arrival to our departure the staff were courtesy and... More

We stayed for 2 days at this hotel, we walked to great shops, restaurants and the Christmas Market. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was the best on our trip. The only downside for us was the smoking allowed in the bar.

Our travel agent recommended this place and it turned out to be a gem. The location is excellent. 15 minute walk to main train station, 5 minute walk to the old square, easy access by public transport from the airport (bus and Metro) and very close to trams and metro. We didn't eat there so cannot comment but noticed they... More

Excellent all round , well educated staff at all levels. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends at any time of the year. The recommendations for good class restaurants were especially helpful. Location is perfect for a walking tour of Prague. Strongly suggest you take the City Tour and the WW11 tour.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
