A wonderful hotel, in a terrific location. The rooms are well set up, comfortable and beautifully kept. The staff are helpful, always looking to assist. They recommended a personal guide, who was incredible. The restaurant food was lovely for dinner, although limited. However the breakfast choices where definitely not! There was a mix up with the rooms on first night,... More

We chose this hotel as a place to meet old friends from another country, to renew friendships and visit a beautiful city for the first time. It was centrally located, very close to Old Town Square, but in a quiet location. We chose the Grand Hotel Bohemia based on reviews in TripAdvisor, and could not have been more pleased with... More

For first time visitors to Prague, we could hardly believe our luck. Situated right in the heart of the old city and beautifully maintained, this is indeed a "grand" hotel. The staff had the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We will be back!

Excellent location, about 10 minutes from the Christmas market in Old Town Square, 5 minutes from the shops. Staff were very friendly, giving us a map on arrival and detailing the main points of interest, even though we arrived at midnight. They booked us a table at Hemingway's (recommended for fab cocktails) and we were pleased to come back to... More

Memorable features: - amazing down pillows - tasty and plentiful buffet breakfast (to-order breakfast menu items not as good as buffet) - comfortable beds - beautiful decor inside and out, especially the fancy ballroom - very near a self-pay gym (1.5 blocks) should you wish to work out (fitness kotva) - easy walking distance to Prague attractions

Stayed for 2 nights. It's an easy 10 minute walk from the main train station. Hotel was centrally located, close to the main square. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, clean rooms. Would most certainly stay he again.

My wife and I gave ourselves the treat of 3 days in Prague just before Christmas. The weather was no better than at home (what would good king Wenceslas say to no snow?), but the city was still a delight. The GH Bohemia is perfectly situated on the edge of the Old Town. We lucked out with our room on... More

This hotel is near metra stops, pedestrian shopping streets leading to the old town square, and has a very nice buffet breakfast with an assortment of hot and cold items. Staff were very helpful at booking day tours which made our stay in Prague very nice.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
