Now, I am notoriously bad at sleeping in strange beds and unfortunately this was no exception. The three of us stayed two nights in a lovely big 4th floor room containing twin beds plus a foldaway bed on the front corner of the building. Unfortunately it overlooked Na Romani, which carries trams on at least five of Prague's 22 or... More

A charming place, albeit a bit of a walk to the main tourist attractions (depending on pace it was around 20-30 mins) but it's easy to get in and around. The bed was comfy and I loved the mini exfoliating soap they provide. Breakfast was nice, I always go for hot items so I was glad they did have some... More

Front desk and restaurant staff was so polite and helpfull. Breakfast was delicious, you can have as much coffey as you want. They have coffey machine available during all the breakfast... More

Comfortable, clean and quiet. Nice and close to the metro, trams and river walk. Michal on reception fabulously helpful. Within easy reach of all the major sites. Nice view from bedroom window. Breakfast unremarkable but fine. Hairdryers a bit old fashioned and noisy. Beds comfortable but bedside tables fixed to wall so no room for manoeuvre.

Stayed there during Dec 2014. Nice hotel situated close to the centre of Prague and public transport. Staff efficient and friendly. Fantastic breakfast with crispy bacon and creamy eggs, variety of breads, cheese, ham, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices etc. etc. Nice spacious room, very clean. No complaints at all. Free wifi and close to supermarkets and restaurants.

Nice hotel. Room was a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities available in room. Breakfast was basic but satisfactory. No restaurant available in hotel but discount available for restaurant opposite. We did not take advantage of this. Hotel is not central but close to metro station. I would be happy to stay here again.

This is a very good hotel if you don't mind the 2km walk to the center... The rooms are clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is not that big but ok if you consider the price. The room and the bathroom are also spacious.

We stayed here for 4 nights in October. It is convenient to the Charles Bridge and Prague Old Town (about a 20min walk), close to the metro station and in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was clean and spacious with high ceilings and a large window that opened out over a courtyard. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
