My wife bought an artwork at the reception desk. DO NOT BUY unless you check/open it. We bought one only to discover when choosing a frame back in US that the artwok is just a CUT OUT from a calendar. Yes... from a calendar that they cut put a border and sealed in plastic and sell for profit. it is... More

We are very sorry that the picture did not meet your expectation, but from souvenir picture at the price of 12 EUR you could not reasonably expect an original. More

We stayed for two nights, the room was lovely and clean, with fridge. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom with bath and lots of clean towels. Great breakfast hot and cold and on until 10 pm which was great! The location was very good, walking distance to all the sights.

this is a nice hotel. room was very clean but the room we had was a bit small, but this didn't cause any problem as we were only there for 3 nights. breakfast was good with everything you would expect in a european hotel. the hotel is only a 5 min walk if that from metro station "karlovo namesti" which... I ordered at package , flight and hotel. This hotel was the default first choice. It is a Best Western, a chain said to have a certain standard. I am not disappointed! Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is located a mile or so south of downtown, about 100 m from Karlovo Square. About 200 m from the metro station... More

Our company had a number of people staying in Hotel Moran for several nights while attending a conference nearby. Everyone was happy with rooms and services, hotel staff is very helpful in general. Central location is excellent, plenty restaurants around and city center not far. The hotel manager goes the extra mile to make things as easy as possible for... More

Average location. Staff absolutely arrogant Height of un-friendly was the restaurant staff. Reception and Restaurant staff are probably suffering from some kind of bias or slant for Asian travelers. Think twice before booking this hotel. 0/10 to restaurant staff.

Very clean rooms, nice building. Although we expected more for a 4 star hotel. The toiletseat was made out of cheap plastic, not comfortable. The breakfast: choice enough and good food. There are not alot of tables so if you are with a larger group you might have to wait. Staff was friendly. Hotel is 15 minutes from the center... More

The location is great, in 20 min walking distance to the center. But the rooms are really old-schooled and you expect more form the 4 star hotel. The breakfast table was quit poor in choice. The metro station was in 2 min, which was nice. The stuff was friendly, which was great =)

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
