Great location, only a couple of minutes to the city centre by tram. Being away from the centre of the city, you can relax and enjoy the local area. Serves only breakfast and no bar at night, but there is a fridge in the room and a mini market at reception offering wine, beer and other essentials. Would go back.

The hotel is very close to city center, but not in the middle of city center so you can go to nice places by walk and at nights you can sleep in a quite place. people in reception are so helpful and polite. the breakfast is good, and it's from 7 till 11 so if you want to sleep more... More

My wife and I have been regularly visiting Prague since just before the Velvet Divorce. I cannot remember the exact number but we have stayed at the Moran at least fifteen times. We have recommended it to several of our friends and all of them have enjoyed their stay there. We will be back there again over Christmas 2015. Its... More

A Good hotel. Although location a bit far off the Old Town. It is maybe a half hour walk to the old town. We stayed 4 nights and liked both the city and the hotel. Room was spacious although the A/c was not powerful. The free breakfast was also good. Over all , we liked it and would recommend it.

Perfect location-close to tram station and to subway. Just one bridge far from Cherles bridge! Beautiful building, big and clean rooms. Very polite stuff! Breakfast area is neat and comfortable! Perfect wi-fi in the room! Even the hotel is too close to trams closing the double windows stops the noise! No doubt-if we isit Prague again we' ll book a... More

This hotel was in a good location, just a 5 minute walk from the river and 25-30 minute walk to the Old Town but it has lovely views along the river so the walk does not seem that long. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a nice choice. I would recommend... More

Great hotel for the price, excellent location near to the main attractions but not in the busy touristy areas. Room was quiet and dark with a comfortable bed. Good breakfast with a nice selection. Free Air conditioning too, highly recommended.

location is good, in walking-distance of touristic centre, ca.3km's from Charles' Bridge. Parking available in the street, not cheap (20EUR per day), but OK. Reception OK, nice, as can be expected. Hotel is rather old, nothing too fancy. Room was rather big, clean, no real issues there. Also: a bit dated, but OK. Don't expect too much from breakfast either.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
