Prague is a beautiful city and easy to walk around. The Central Hotel Prague is a hotel in a fantastic location. We regularly stay in Prague and I can easily say this hotel is the best location we have stayed in yet. It is less than 5 mins walk to Wenceslas Square and all the central locations to visit are... It was the most awful experience me and my husband had... unfortunately on our honeymoon! It happens, you know once in life, you believe you’ve chosen the best agency and it turns out that the agency is interested until you transfer the money. Everybody Prague Experience knew we wanted to stay in a double room with kind-size bed and finally... More

Three night in april this hotel was my basecamp. We arrived late a friday night to the pre booked hotel. We had asked for a twinroom but unfortunately we got a very small room with a very small bed. We decided to ask for a change, and went down to the reception again. After some minutes without any discussion we got... More

Just returned from a 4 night stat at Central Hotel and certainly had no complaints. Our room on the 5 floor was quiet, clean and comfortable with a view through the roof tops towards the old town. The room wasn't huge but neither was it cramped and was perfectly adequate for our stay. There was no tea or coffee making... More

A nice four night break at this hotel. Stayed from 23 - 27 Feb. It is situated on a small road a few hundred yards from the old square. (Take close note of the address or you could wander the streets trying to find it, in the dark, after a few Pivos') The staff were friendly and helpful (One receptionist... More

This is a fanctastic location for visiting the old town of Prague, you couldn't get a better location if you tried. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are very polite. The rooms are quite old fashioned, however when staying in this area of Prague you would be unlikely to find extremely modern hotels. It just fits in perfectly... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
