First off, this is unashamedly a 3* hotel and should be rated as such. It had much to recommend it--clean, good breakfast good bed and reasonable toiletries through dispensers. If you are young wanting a good central location you could do a lot worse BUT no aircon in Europe's heatwave meant you needed an open window and the night noise... More

We visited there in hot summer. We are not familiar with non-airconditioning culture, so the atmosphere of hotel is not good enough to enjoy. But they are nice. They borrow us the pan.(OASIS!!!) And the computer in loby works bad. Free wifi works bad too. It makes defficult to make other reservation for trip. But still, breakfast is the best.... More

Just fine for a group of friends on a stag do. Staff in bar area were sound enough , Michael/Robert , kept the drinks coming , breakfast was ok , typically Czech sausage , scrambled egg and toast ,a selection of fruit juices , tea and coffee . The rooms are basic , they do have a telly, but as... More

If you. Walk fast like me, this place is 5 min walk to the clock tower and less than 15 min walk to Charles bridge. Also you can go walking to Wenceslas square. Not fancy, a bit hot. The room doesn't have AC. Terrible wifi, disconnects every 2 min! If you're looking for a reasonable price and good location. That's... More

Nice location. Walking distance from metro station. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and fan is too small (during summer this detail is very relevant). Breakfast included and was very nice. Staff attention is OK.

Good location, not too far from main square, ~15 min walk from main train station, clean and quiet room. Rybná is quite small street so not much street noise when windows are closed. However there was no air condition in the room and during my visit outside temperature was 30 - 35 Celsius so room was very warm. Breakfast included... More

We stayed here in June during a European vacation. It was three night stay. Upon arrival we were created by a very rude staff. They spoke English but proceeded to ignore us and talk in their native language the whole time. Our room was two double beds which were pushed together. They were comfortable so we didn't mind. There was... More

The Central Hotel Prague is within 15 minutes walking time to the centre of the city. It is on the main busy Legerova Road to the centre. rooms are comfortable and the double glazing cuts out most of the traffic noise. Good choice for the continental breakfast. Pretty garden at the rear with plenty of seating but the main draw... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
