The Central Hotel Prague is within 15 minutes walking time to the centre of the city. It is on the main busy Legerova Road to the centre. rooms are comfortable and the double glazing cuts out most of the traffic noise. Good choice for the continental breakfast. Pretty garden at the rear with plenty of seating but the main draw... More

Hotel is situated less then 5 minutes from the Old Town square. Room is of good size and the free wi-fi is of okay speed. Room could be much more cleaner as there were cobwebs on the roof and also marks on the wall. Huge upside has to be breakfast, the breakfast was amazing. I loved the pancakes alot, taking... More

Have just returned after spending 3 nights at Central Hôtel Prague. This hotel did exactly what it claimed and was central to many of the main attractions this wonderful city had to offer. A 5 minute walk from the hotel and you were in the Old Town and the astronomical clock, 10/15 minute walk depending on how fast you walked... More

The hotel has limited (small) reception area and lounge - seating max of 8 people. Hot breakfast tended to be going on cool, variety limited, but the dining room was comfortable. TV in the bedroom was for european channels, and English programmes other than news were hard to find. Central location was good and most sigjhts were within reasonable walking... More

We booked to stay at this hotel a good few months before our arrival on 27th may 2015. It was booked as a birthday treat for my boyfriend. We chose the 'book now pay later' option and provided card details as security. The condition of this is that if you cancel the room past midday on the day of arrival... More

Dear Guest, first of all thank you for your opinion. I would like to inform you that we had to cancel your booking because it was guaranteed with invalid credit card. Unfortunately we can´t keep any bookings without guarantee but we still kept it until 5 p.m. same day. However our night receptionist had the duty to help you to... More

Hotel is good situated in central Prague, room was clean and quiet. Bar staff very nice and helpful, unfortunately I can't say it about man working on reception, become to me very rude.when we told him he shouldn't speak like this to us he started shouting and arguing even more. Otherwise everything was ok,nice decent breakfast.

Overnight here before flying home. The receptionist on our first evening was unfriendly and unhelpful, not a good start. Our room was adequate but needs refurbishing. The lift is tiny, not helpful when you have luggage. Breakfast was good. The staff the next morning were fine. Centrally located but others would recommend the Hotel Agnes, equally central but with very... More

Prague is a beautiful city and easy to walk around. The Central Hotel Prague is a hotel in a fantastic location. We regularly stay in Prague and I can easily say this hotel is the best location we have stayed in yet. It is less than 5 mins walk to Wenceslas Square and all the central locations to visit are... It was the most awful experience me and my husband had... unfortunately on our honeymoon! It happens, you know once in life, you believe you’ve chosen the best agency and it turns out that the agency is interested until you transfer the money. Everybody Prague Experience knew we wanted to stay in a double room with kind-size bed and finally... More

Dear Guest, first of all thank you for your visit. I would like to express to your comment. As we have already informed you during your stay, the bed in your room was a queen bed with 2 mattresses but not 2 twin beds. And because all our double rooms have this type of bed we were not able to... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
