The hotel is within walking distance to many of the major attractions. The service especially in the executive lounge was top notch as well. We will definitely be back during our next visit to Prague.

I enjoyed four nights at Hilton Old Town in Prague. What a great hotel. Excellent service (including a car service that was very convenient indeed). The restaurant is excellent (including Asian choices that are superb!). Terrific location. Really, there's not much that I can say that isn't positive. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff on the concierge desk. And special treats... More

Our stay at the Hilton provided a cool oasis of calm on a hot and busy weekend. Iced water in the lobby was ideal with outside temperature hitting 38C. Room comfortable, A/C worked well and staff very helpful.

First, let me say that it's a very nice hotel in a great location. It's right by major tram stops and subway. It's 1 block from a big square and the municipal building, where there is classical music and ballet (across the street). It's a very short walk to the old town square and all the tourist stuff. If you... More

A great location to see prague. rooms are very comfortable and staff was very helpful. They took care of parking and hotel amenities were relaxing. location is steps away from old town square and other main attraction and around the corner from a convenient metro station.

We did not enjoy this hotel. It is in a good location, but the hotel itself is quite tired, without having the character we found in hotels elsewhere in Europe. The first room we were given wasn't renovated, and had a dank smell. Then we were moved to a renovated, yet much smaller room. This room was cramped. Very little... More

Great location, nice rooms. Brought in comfortable 3rd bed for our teenage daughter and I was amazed that it fit nicely in a "smaller than American" sized room. Breakfast buffet was way overpriced, but it was fabulous. (It was included for one night, but would have been $18pp for continental the second). Luckily the French bistro next door had fabulous... We stayed 2 nights on the executive floor. We really enjoyed our stay and the service was amazing before and during our stay. I was emailed before my arrival with an offer to assist with anything we needed. I replied and made a few requests and they were handled perfectly. The concierge was wonderful, I wish I remembered her name... More

I stay in Hilton brand hotels almost exclusively now as I am normally treated well as a Diamond member. Understandably because I stay in hotels so often I am inevitably going to have a bad experience occasionally. I think it only fair that I give feedback when this happens as I make a point of giving positive comments when the... More

Well - we got to Prague very late and the 2 rooms we'd booked for over 12 months were not available. Again - you have to ask why ? We leave tomorrow for the UK. Then to the USA. Looking forward to the Times Square Hilton - a personal favourite of mine. On arrival our son got a room with... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
