This hotel is centrally located in the heart of historical district in an area called “New Town”. As a frequent visitor to Prague, I prefer to be near the historical sites, shopping district, restaurants, bars and the public transportations. The underground metro B line (marked as yellow) and the Palladium shopping mall are only steps away from the hotel main... More

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. This hotel deserves its five star rating. From the lovely decor and comfortable beds. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The restaurant was elegant and bright. We were offered the facilities of tea and coffee in our room free of charge. Slippers and dressing gowns provided. At... More

We loved our stay at the Hotel Paris. The Art Nouveau decor was stunning and each floor was like an art gallery. All the staff were extremely helpful, considerate, friendly and attentive, breakfast was varied and our deluxe room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel, in a quiet street just metres from the Municipal Hall and Powder Tower, is... More

I stayed here 3 nights with the family. The building itself is very grand and the interiors have been beautifully restored to their Art Deco origins. The rooms were not large, but typical Europe or NYC sized, but well laid out with large closets. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast included with the room... This hotel is beautiful. It is an old world European hotel. It is like stepping back in time. It is centrally located and close to many wonderful shops, restaurants and sights. The rooms are smaller but comfortable. The air conditioning in our room was fabulous! Which was a bonus since the temperature in Prague was over 100 with high humidity.... More

I stayed in room 408. This 5 star luxury spa hotel boasts artsy interior decor and strategic location. Bathroom is spacious. No complimentary drinks but the mini bar is stuffed with all kinds of snacks and drinks. The staffs are extremely accommodating and courteous. I like the whirlpool in the spa the most, however there are also steam bath and... More

Lovely old hotel beautifully looked after. Staff very friendly and helpful and meals very nice. Approx 200mtr walk to town square where there is a market and always something happening. Several restaurants to choose from and everything you need almost on your doorstep. Public transport excellent and cheap. Would definitely stay there again.

Truly old world hotel. No magnetic entry cards here, you get an old fashioned room key. Air conditioning worked well, breakfast was good, wifi worked well. Location can not be beat. Rooms were absolutely sound proof. I did find it strange that the king size bed did not have a single comforter but instead, there were two individual(single size) comforters(maybe... More

My dad and I booked this hotel as a last minute city break to Prague. Neither of us had been to Prague before so we had no idea where would be best to be based. The hotel was brilliant. It was stunning, inside and out. Of a morning you could see people walking past the hotel taking pictures of it.... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
