This is a great Hotel - staff very friendly and helpful, clean, tidy, and very central. The Sarah Bernhardt Hotel Restaurant is excellent - the tasting menu really worth it - very good wine list - cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The Hotel Paris is a great place to stay to visit the Old Town on foot. It is decorated in 20's nouvelle modern and the staff is friendly and efficient. We were there to see the Christmas markets in Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Havel Place. All these were great to see, but a bit overwhelming with a lot... More

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your experience with other travellers. We definitely do understand your point, but on the other side of the view we suppose, that you should also understand the point of our hotel (as you were informed by our Manager on Duty). The reason, why houskeepers did not come to your room to clean it up... More

The staff is as warm and accommodating as ever and the place is as elegant cozy and inviting as my previous 2 stays. This year i was happy to see an electric kettle, coffee, cream and teas are now provided in each room, and... The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to all sights and restaurants. We stayed in Prague for four days and did not need to use any public transport or taxi's. We had booked a driver to and from the airport with the hotel. All was arranged very well. In the car however, we felt... More

We recently stayed in Hotel Paris as a change from our usual choices, as we were looking to stay somewhere close to the Old Town Square area. Check-in was friendly but involved the usual bureaucratic form filling that seems to be mandatory in the Czech Republic. Our junior suite was not particularly large, and the view was of the building... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
