Was a really great hotel - very good location - walking distance to most places. Rooms were neat and clean - staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant adjoining the hotel was very good as well. Ask for a room away from the square - if you prefer silence to noise- the first night we stayed in a room overlooking... More

Great location if visiting Prague for a few days. Buffet breakfast very good. Found the room size fine and well appointed. Liked the touch of flavoured water or sparking wine @ the reception. Had after dinner drinks on the street terrace which is a great spot for watching the evening activities. Hotel good for families, couples and those travelling solo.

A beautiful, well-located boutique hotel. Full service, English-speaking front desk staff will help with your every need. Well-appointed, comfortable rooms; elevator. Fabulous western/European breakfast daily. Bar w/ tvs ensures you can keep up w/ sports events - happy hour! - but does not interfere with socializing during dinner. Outside patio overlooks one of the area's wide, tree-lined main streets. Neighborhood... More

Just returned home after a 3 night stay at the Jalta, all in all it's quite a nice hotel, but nothing is perfect in this world, and the Jalta in no exception, it is situated in an ideal location on Wenceslas Square within very easy walking to quite a lot of the main attractions and shops, Old Town Square, Astronomical... Have been in Prague countless times and this time tried Jalta. It has a great location on the main square, and while built in communist times the quality of everything is very good. What will surprise you are the wide hallways, high quality rooms and a very pleasant restaurant. When looking for a combination of location, quality and price this... More

Travelled on a two night break to Prague. The hotel is right in the tourist area, about 15 minute walk from the old town. The area is vibrant with plenty of cafés and vendors selling sausages, pizzas etc. we were warned about pickpockets and whilst we didn't experience any problems, we would pass the warning on. The hotel staff are... More

First time to Prague and the location could not have been better.Staff was quite accommodating and willing to help. They have a secure underground parking so our car was still intact after the 2 nights with no worries. You can get a bit of street noise if you have the upgraded street side room, but really was not bad in my... The Jalta was originally built to hide the construction of an atomic bunker deep below the hotel. There is also a spy room located in the bunker where they listened to the ramblings of the guests during the cold war years, actually up until 1989! If you ask at the reception they will give you a guided tour and it... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend - a good boutique hotel - great central location - a short walk to the Opera, the old quarters and Wenceslas Square, The Municipal House, Mucha Museum and Astronomical Clock. The Christmas markets are worth going back for! We took a Superior Double with Museum View and Balcony. Guaranteed a comfortable... More

A group of 16 of us stayed at this wonderful hotel, the food was excellent and the prices not bad. The rooms were spotless and the service given by the staff first class. Looking forward to a return visit sometime in the future. If you get a chance go to shelter below the hotel and see how they would have... More
