This hotel is very central but on a nice relatively calm street near Narodni trida metro station. ( 2 minutes walk). The restaurant next door, ultramarin serves good food to locals and tourists. There are a few art galleries in the vicinity as well as medium priced restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is well run by attentive staff. more

My husband and I and a couple of friends just returned from a wonderful vacation. This was my 3rd trip to Prague; I have stayed in the Elite Hotel each time. The location is fabulous; the breakfast offers a great variety of hot and cold food (i.e. eggs, cooked meat, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, breads, rolls, salads,... more

Dear madam, thank you very much for your kind review. It always helps us to make our service better. Especially - as you mentioned : ................the shower head is positioned at tub level; ............In last days we finished the mounting of the shower holders over the head :)) Dear madam, looking forward to your next visit to Prague again. I...

Our first trip to Prague and therefore first stay at the Elite but we would certainly visit again and would stay at the Elite. The hotel is located down a small side road no more than five minutes walk from the old town area giving us the choice of eating or drinking very reasonably where the locals eat and drink... more

The Elite is in a great location to move around the city, but not in an overpriced area. My partner and I stayed there for 8 days. The hotel is 1/2 block from major bus lines and the subway, although we found it easy to walk everywhere. The hotel is clean, comfortable, friendly, quiet. We had a nice room that... more

Dear madam, dear sir, thank you very much for your kind review. It always helps us to make our service better. Especially - as you mentioned : ................The height of the shower was too low for tall people like ourselves, but that is a common problem. ............The hotel was renovated in a medieval spirit, so you are right, there are...

Hotel Elite is in an excellent central location (1 min from Narodni Trida metro station). Wenceslas Square is about an 8min walk / the river is about 5mins away. All the main tourist attractions in Prague are walkable from Hotel Elite. The Elite was very clean. The hotel is very quaint, with lots of wooden beams, low ceilings etc. My... more

I am upset this hotel is rated as a four star hotel. I have travelled all over the world for business and have never experienced a 4 star hotel like this one. I am grateful there are sites such as this to share my experience. I booked this place through Hotwire and it was my first experience using the site... more

Good morning from Prague, Elite hotel. Let me give a short response to this review. I am sorry to put back into this guest review. Ms. Ford booked a single room, which are mostly attic (as per our room description on our homepage ), it means these rooms are with garret windows for one person. I do not want to...

Our first time in Prague and we made a great choice of hotel. The hotel is sited perfectly for walking to all the sites and the tram station is just around the corner if you need it. Sited of the main street it is very quite. The staff were friendly and very helpfull. A great little bar that was a... more

The Elite was "ok", I wouldn't rave about. Obviously the pictures of rooms aka "The Sistine Chapel" are the VERY very best. The breakfast is the typical european, mixed cheese, cold meat and cereal affair. The room was very clean and spacious (about the same as a decent travelodge) and the bathroom had a shower attachemnt at low level. A... more

Hotel Elite is in a quiet side street 3 min from Narodni Trida metro station. The cavern-like breakfast room doubles as an independent restaurant in the evenings, but there are Italian and Chinese restaurants acroos the road, and if you care to walk for ten minutes there are numerous pubs serving traditional Czech fare. The staff are a good helpful... more

We stayed here for four nights at the end of March 2009,as part of a package holiday through Opodo. This hotel is located in the Nove Mesto area of Prague, 80m from a tram & metro station which links you to all the major attractions in Prague, although the hotel itself is so centrally located you can walk anywhere in... more
