The hotel is amazingly fantastic. It has charm, it is comfortable, it is in a fantastic location. It's down side? The price. Even for its location, it is too expensive. That being said, I've seen deals/sales for it. If you can get the price down to being 50 (or 60) euros per night, GRAB IT AND DO NOT LET GO!

I booked this hotel on December 12, 2014 using Booking.com. When arrived at the hotel it was full, man at reception promised to find another accomodation. After 1 hour I was stil waiting, then I went to find another hotel, the surprise is that Hotel debited my credit card, Booking.com refused to refund me because the hotel told them I... More

This Hotel is in a very good location, in a beautiful old building. Our room was on the ground floor. The only problem was the staff has a technical room near our room, and they were very loud from early morning. The wifi doesn't work at all.

The staff at Elite Hotel were helpful. The location of the hotel was also really great - right by public transportation and close to shops and restaurants. The woman at the front desk referred us to a restaurant around the corner (for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it) which we got 10% off at and... More

The hotel offers cosy rooms, with traditional furniture and architecture, the ceiling is very high and made of wood, like the czech old houses. We received a room at the 1st floor and everything was ok, the sheets were clean, the bathroom was well equipped and the lady cleaned the room every day, while we were out. The breakfast was... Stayed for 3 nights on a visit with my sister to this amazing city. The hotel is such an interesting building, full of character and old world charm but still has all mod cons and everything we needed. It was very clean, the ensuite was lovely, beds & pillows comfy, and plenty of storage. Breakfast was fine, plenty to choose... More

Travelled to Prague in early October and had a great stay in this hotel. The room was a little smaller than what you'd expect in the UK, but had all of the usual amenities and was very clean and quiet. The location was fantastic, with a supermarket just across the street, 5 minute walk from Old Town Square, less than... More

We stayed at Elite with friends, 13-19 Nov 2014. My friend had read up on Elite before we travelled and was dubious, she would agree now that the trip advisor write ups did not reflect in the stay we had. For our visit we found all members of staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. When we first checked in we... More

We enjoyed our stay n the Elite Hotel. Staff at Reception and in the Bar were friendly and helpful. Our room on 2nd floor was comfortable with a large bed, table and easy chairs, mini bar, flat screen TV. There was free wi-fi throughout. The Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the National Theatre, 5 minutes walk to Wenceslaus... More

My wife & I spent five nights in Hotel Elite. Our experiences at the hotel really added to our enjoyment of this wonderful city. Location, facilities, staff and food met or surpassed expectations. We particularly appreciated the free high quality wi-fi, air conditioning and comfortable bed. We can highly recommend Prague in general and this hotel in particular for a... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
