Cannot fault the hotel great value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was lovely and clean. I have a medical condition which prevents me from laying down in bed extra pillows were provided straigt away. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. The hotel is idealy situated for sightseeing as it is central... More

We received a warm welcome and were soon up to our room after the formalities. The room itself wasn't large by any means but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was very agreeable and bathroom absolutely fine. Our breakfasts were fairly basic but enjoyable. Although the hotel is in a very central position, which is great, it was quiet during... It would be unfair to mention only gripes because our stay was by no means a disaster - the building has charm, the location is excellent (not noisy and one minute walk from tram stops and Narodní třída underground station, ten from the National Theatre, less than fifteen from The Old Town Square) and the reception staff are friendly and... Ok the location is super because its in the centre of prague but the 4 stars as it is rated are fake.2 stars or 1 is right!!!the room was very dirty snd dusty probably a motel would have been much cleaner than this!the room service very bad they came into our room... Avoid this hotel. At the checkout we were forced to pay for the minibar, for products we did not use. When we protested the owner got pretty aggressive, and made clear it was impossible they could have made a mistake. The conversation escalated and he even threatened my wife. There must be similar hotels with a good location and a... More

The hotel is amazingly fantastic. It has charm, it is comfortable, it is in a fantastic location. It's down side? The price. Even for its location, it is too expensive. That being said, I've seen deals/sales for it. If you can get the price down to being 50 (or 60) euros per night, GRAB IT AND DO NOT LET GO!

After 1 hour I was stil waiting, then I went to find another hotel, the surprise is that Hotel debited my credit card, Booking.com refused to refund me because the hotel told them I... More

This Hotel is in a very good location, in a beautiful old building. Our room was on the ground floor. The only problem was the staff has a technical room near our room, and they were very loud from early morning. The wifi doesn't work at all.

The staff at Elite Hotel were helpful. The location of the hotel was also really great - right by public transportation and close to shops and restaurants. The woman at the front desk referred us to a restaurant around the corner (for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it) which we got 10% off at and... More

The hotel offers cosy rooms, with traditional furniture and architecture, the ceiling is very high and made of wood, like the czech old houses. We received a room at the 1st floor and everything was ok, the sheets were clean, the bathroom was well equipped and the lady cleaned the room every day, while we were out. The breakfast was... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
