This is our fourth return visit to Prague and always stay here. Ideal location for seeing the sights within walking distance. Only disappointment this year was taxi wasn't allowed to drive to front door and we had to walk 50 metres to hotel. Hotel is clean, bedrooms have everything you want - safe, mini bar, hairdryer, bath robes. Staff very... More

We visited this hotel as part of tour group staying two nights just before Christmas. Its difficult to fault the location - Wenceslas Square is great and its so close to the old Square that walking and exploring are rewarding. There were two factors about our stay that were quite frankly poor: - Firstly they ran out of food at... More

Spent Christmas 2015 at this hotel found al the staff very pleasant and friendly and all spoke good English. We stayed for seven nights and booked a Junior suite over looking Wenceslas Square, bedroom had a king size bed, dressing table, chair, TV, and wardrobe, suite had three seater sofa, two arm chairs large table and another wardrobe we had... We were in this hotel for 5 days at nye. The hotel is very old (100 years old), but very clean. Still theres a funny smell in the corridors, they should take care of that smell. the room itself was very clean and spacious. What bothered me was that we ordered a couple room and they put two single beds,... More

Just got back from a break with husband over Christmas and New Year. This hotel is brilliant to get to everywhere. Powder Gate is literally mins away with the Old Town Square between 5 and 10mins away. Charles Bridge also very close. We arrived at the hotel and thought the bathroom in the room was a little small. Got onto... More

I stayed at the Adria last month (December) with my husband and elderly parents and I have to say I pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived. From the central location to the friendly and helpful staff, we really not have asked for more. I was quite nervous as I booked the hotel based on a colleague's recommendation - and... More

We loved the hotel. It is a very central location but quiet enough to ensure a good night's sleep. Breakfast was great with a variety of hot and cold food available. The staff were all lovely. It was a great hotel which used to be several buildings, making the layout a little unusual in parts. I loved staying here but... More

The service is superb, the staff cannot seem to do enough for guests. The room was good, although odd - it had a staircase that led up to a landing which had just an armchair on it. The only downside, and this is not specific to the hotel, is smoking in public places - it made everywhere stink like it... More

Excellent position and quite cheap: two great thinghs when togheter! Rooms are clean and big enough. Breakfast is good (i liked strudel and pamkakes), but not excellent. It's very central and perfect for a walk in the evening. I didn' t try the restaurant, since nearby there are thousands of different alternatives.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
