Our flight to Prague was delayed, and we arrived very late in the middle of the night. The receptionist waited for us until much later than she said she would, and even gave us a discount on the late fees we had to pay! She gave us Room 8 on the 3rd floor, and we were impressed with the size... More

When I arrived at this place I had to wait outside the main door for half an hour, because the only person in the staff was cleaning the rooms. She is responsible for the cleaning, the reception, arranging the breakfast, which was terrible with very old fruits and bread from the previous day. This awful place is very far from... More

We made reservation directly from hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the radiator didn't work in our room, she quickly brought electric heater. The problem was fixed next day. Breakfasts as ascetic as the whole hotel was: yogurt, bread, some ham and sausage, tea and coffee in pot. The furniture is quite old, but wooden. Cleaning... More

My girlfriend and I where guests in this hotel from the 11.09.2014 to the 17.09.2014. I wrote this review because we were not asked if there was any problem with our room (room number 2) during our stay. This was the first time in a hotel that I was not asked this question and I am pretty sure why. My... More

This is a lovely hotel located in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Prague 2. The hotel is a nice 30 minutes downhill walk away from the old town square. There are 2 tram stops within 5 minutes walk from the hotel which can take you to Prague Castle under 30 minutes. The Metro stop is only 10 minutes walk away.... More

I must confess a certain bias: I once lived in an apartment in this house in the 1970s. Then, as now, the house retained the atmosphere of a Prague apartment house built in 1910 as it would have appeared during the first Czechoslovak republic. The present managers have furnished the rooms with natural pine furniture, which is slightly out of... More

I spent there a one week. Residence Kralovsky Vinohrad is a little bit under standard hotel. The reception is open from 8.00am to 8.00pm (thats probably ok). Rooms are big and old (but nice). There is no daily room service, the breakfast is served from 8.00am (sometimes little bit too late for business people) to 10.30am. The hotel is well... More

I did not expect much from This low budget accommodation (50€ per double room/night with little breakfast), yet I was quite disappointed. Notwithstanding a kind and helpful welcome at the arrival, the managers of the residence run the business with little care. No daily room service (unexpected) makes worse a room with worn out bed linen, dirty curtains, and rundown... More

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
