Excellent apartment for two at a relatively cheap price. This hotel is located in the old Jewish part of Prague and is ideally situated to the riverside. The location of the hotel makes it quiet enough to get away from most of the crowds at night time but close enough to all of the cities tourist hot spots. Very easy... More

After an extensive search for an apartment in the old town of Prague, we found Golden Prague Residence on Tripadvisor, which to our delight, proved to be the perfect place to stay. The apartments are an annex to the 5 star Intercontinental hotel close to the Vitava river and a quick walk to the Old Town Square. Our apartment on... More

Just returned from a long weekend stay in Prague staying here. The residences are managed by the Intercontinental but are no means five star, perhaps a good three star at best. Having said that they were clean, well kept, well decorated, although a little basic. My apartment consisted of a double bed, a small kitchen, and a seating area where... More

Stayed here for three nights recently on a short trip to Prague. Very close to the Old Town - less than a 5 minute walk - and practically right beside the river, which meant views of the castle were close by! Made visiting those sights to see very easy. Apartment was well maintained with good amenities. Facilities at the intercontinental... More

I stayed in this residence for three nights and everything was perfect. The residence is really close to the Intercontinental Hotel and it's run by the same staff, this means that the service is superb. It also means that you can freely use their spa and gym free of charge. The apartment has a gratis wi-fi connection so that you... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel (19 room), comfortable and providing excellent service. The restaurant on site has superb food with a magnificent view of Prague. Don't miss staying here when in Prague.

I stayed in the hotel with a group of friends for a long weekend. Each room is a small apartment with kitchen and living room, so is excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and you get to use all of the Intercontinental's facilities. Most of the main tourist areas are a 10-15 minute walk, so you are located... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights over New Year's Eve and we were very pleased with our choice. The hotel consists of apartments in a building opposite the intercontinental by the river. It is run by the intercontinental and you get to use all the facilities there too. The apartment was spacious and clean with... More

Sizeable well appointed apartments. Dishwasher, coffee machine, 2 TVs, sizeable bath, decent bed. (Couch a little uncomfortable). Funny smell in room, presumably some kind of cleaning fluid, or spray, because the smell was always stronger after the room was cleaned. Access to awesome fitness facilities in the hotel intercontinental - very welcome during a winter visit with snow outside. room... More

We were a party of four and booked two apartments for four nights next to each for a New Year Stay. All in all the apartments were great and fitted all needs. They were well equipped and clean. The location was great and there are many restaurants within walking distance. It is only a five minute walk to the Old... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
