This hostel is located about three long blocks from the Hradcanska metro station. The area is generally safe--but there is a nightclub a couple of doors down and the patrons make LOTS of noise outside in the street into the wee hours of the morning on weekends. We had our windows shut but could still hear shouting and commotion almost... More

It is a very cheap hostel, but it is as if it is haunted! For such an amount it can be considered ok, but the actual hostel, has nothing to do with the pictures on the webpage! It's a completely different place. No internet in the rooms. To connect you have to go to a small room in the first... More

This hostel is good and for good price. You get very nice and clean private room - bathroom is shared (i saw some reviews about but during my visit it was very clean). The size of the room is more than OK - you have enough place to store all your stuff. My room was on the 2nd floor and... More

The place is well-located, around 5 minutes walk from Hradcanska Subway station, ton of restaurants and places nearby. Also close to Dejvicka station, so convenient location for the airport bus. The rooms are clean and simple, bathrooms are basic and clean - but the unfriendly service just makes this place less than ideal. The receptionist took a break when I... More

Nice and simpel hostel. Big clean rooms and friendly staff! The kitchen is a plus and the location is perfect. The supermarket is around the corner and the local restaurants are very cheap. If we will go back to praque we will go back to this hostel!

We stayed at this hostel in June 2013. We have chosen accommodation in a hurry taking into account the distance from the center, and price. We never imagined for a moment that the room where we will be accommodated would luke like under communism. Coming from a former communist country, the word that best describes this hostel is typical communist... More

I've stayed in Dakura hostel for 2 nights (Fri-Sun) in march 2013 in double room. First thing look carefully for a sign, buildings have strange numbers on them so it is hard to find right address even on a straight street in Prague GOOD POINTS: - good location, but hard to find at first time - helpfull staff - comfortable... We needed a bed without breakfast for a night close to the airport as our flight was really early and this was the cheapest option. We paid for a room with bathroom but didn't realize it meant a shower & wash basin, the toilet was still shared. Since we arrived around 10 pm the place looked even a bit scary.... More

hace exactly the same thoughts as the reviewers below. you get what you pay for, though I reckon you can get better place for the same money. 30euros for the double room is quite a lot considering what Dakura offers. This place has a unique smell of socialist era, just like it the time has stopped there and nothing has... More
