We arrived by train in Prague and caught the local trams. To start with we had a little trouble finding the hostel - it's tucked down an alleyway next to a currency exchange (the pictures on here were a big help). When we did arrive we were a bit concerned we might have walked into a party hostel as there... More

We stayed here for a night while in Prague and had a great stay. Right from the start the staff was outstanding. Upon arriving we got a nice rundown of the hostel and everything they offered including free tours. We took them up on a voucher for the Prague Ghosts and Legends tour. We had a private 2 person room... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with a friend in a shared female dorm. We arranged transport with the hostel and they picked us up in a black cab that had wifi! Big room, with good showers and confortable beds. Great wifi! Small cupboards to lock belongings in too. Staff very helpful at reception. Met some lovely people who we was... More

This hotel is my best experience in the Prague trip. The hotel is in the centre of city just next to Charles Bridge. They provide a lot of facilities like free kitchen, Fridge, Oven, Washing machine. They also offer free access to PC's with lot of movie collection and full building wifi access. They have lot of tips about tour... More

In the past ten years I have stayed in dozens and dozens of hostels in many different countries and I can honestly say that this was one of the best hostel experiences I have had. After all these years I feel I have a fair idea of what a good hostel should be like and this one ticks pretty much... More

Friendly staff that go above and beyond for a hostel, nice rooms and a great location. This hostel does double rooms, although they're more like apartments. Not cheap, however well worth it! The rooms come equipped with a private toilet, private cooking facilities and communal areas.

Steps from the historic Charles Bridge, and in an amazing old building, this place serves as both a TI and a hostel. This means that you can do segway tours if you're so inclined, but also that the staff there is insanely knowledgeable and helpful. They give you free water/coffee/hot chocolate, and are so accommodating. I stayed there before moving... More

I knew this hostel was the perfect place for me as soon as I entered through the door to check in and was instantly asked if I'd like a complimentary slice of pizza (along with coffee/tea and cookies). The hostel is practically ON the Charles Bridge, and it is easy to get anywhere you need to go from their location,... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
