In the past ten years I have stayed in dozens and dozens of hostels in many different countries and I can honestly say that this was one of the best hostel experiences I have had. After all these years I feel I have a fair idea of what a good hostel should be like and this one ticks pretty much... More

Friendly staff that go above and beyond for a hostel, nice rooms and a great location. This hostel does double rooms, although they're more like apartments. Not cheap, however well worth it! The rooms come equipped with a private toilet, private cooking facilities and communal areas.

Steps from the historic Charles Bridge, and in an amazing old building, this place serves as both a TI and a hostel. This means that you can do segway tours if you're so inclined, but also that the staff there is insanely knowledgeable and helpful. They give you free water/coffee/hot chocolate, and are so accommodating. I stayed there before moving... More

I knew this hostel was the perfect place for me as soon as I entered through the door to check in and was instantly asked if I'd like a complimentary slice of pizza (along with coffee/tea and cookies). The hostel is practically ON the Charles Bridge, and it is easy to get anywhere you need to go from their location,... More

Could not have found a better location, friendlier or more helpful staff and an endless supply of free, good coffee and water as well. Very good value, clean and would highly recommend so long as you're not looking for frills. This was a family break, myself and 2 adult kids and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This location was amazing. You walk out of the tower and a few feet and you are at the charles bridge. the lobby is a tourist information center and someone is always there to help. they ALWAYS offered us coffee, tea, and chocolate milk. They were even making coffee for random vagabonds singing outside of the hostel. great luggage storage... More

Had a great experience staying here, 100% due to the friendly and informative staff. All of the people working here work so hard to make your life easy. They will give you: 1. Tips about the best places/foods to eat (and avoiding unnecessarily high prices) 2. Free tours to get you acquainted with the area 3. Directions to any and... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
