Stayed here from the 8th - 11th January 2016 in the self contained 'Thereza Apt' Travelled by bus and metro from the airport where we bought the ticket for £1 each. The accommodation is very secure and is just a 10 minute walk from the centre. It represents good value for money. Once we checked in we saw or heard... More

Excellent location, very nice and comfortable room with a private bathroom. Staff is helpful and very kind. We had everything we needed like books, maps, internet and the guy at the reception gave us a lot of suggestion for doing things (restaurant, museum...) We sure will suggest to our friends and hope to come back soon!

Excellent location a short walk from the city center and right next to an award winning microbrewery with great local food. Had a 'difficult' room-mate but the staff did everything they could to accommodate the issue. They also helped me with a booking I had made that hadn't worked out. Very polite and helpful overall.

Sorry for the late review, finally got Tripadvisor app on my phone!! I stayed at this hostel twice, once in may 2012 and again in Nov 2014.. Both times I loved it so much I extended my stay. I stayed in the hostel just for one night. I totally loved it. The style of a shared room was soooo cool. It was like a treehouse so you actually slept upstairs and other people downstairs. No bunk beds so you don¨t feel every movement of your flatmate. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Kind receptionist. Towel free for use on each... More

The hostel is located 15 min on foot from city centre, 5 minutes from dancing house. The staff are friendly and the reception is 24/7. The hostel is clean and warm and the facilities are excellent. Best price / money.

A really relaxing place to stay, an easy walk from the city centre, and with its own idiosyncratic 'Adventure Time' style of decoration. Great for kids, self catering kitchens, and a cheerful laid back atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay at artharmony very much and the staff was very friendly. We would have appreciated an option to get breakfast IN the hostel and before 9 a.m. (a solution is beeing offered nearby from 9 a.m.), but found an italian cafe nearby the corner Lazarská / Vodickova. Apart from that a very stay and we do recommend... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
