Not knowing what to expect as this stay was a present, we were delighted. The situation is excellent, the baroque decor suits the building and the environment perfectly. The service and welcome are irreproachable, little extras (sauna, wine tasting etc...) are to be appreciated. Equals the very best of the Relais & Châteaux

We recently traveled to Prague and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our group included several people who are used to luxury travel and usually stay at Hotel Savoy - paying top dollar for their suites. The Hotel Savoy was sold out so I did some research and found this hotel highly rated. Everyone in our group was impressed.... More

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were spacious and had balconies with great views. It was a fairly central location next to places easy to find, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The place is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. Absolutely one of the best (if not the best) hotels... More

It was very unforgettable hotel experience for us on out travels. The hotel is located a few minutes from the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. On the other side in very quiet zone with no tourist crowds. There are only 8 rooms in the hotel, beautiful breakfast room with a round table so you can chat with other travellers... More

We travel as a couple and prefer staying at smaller hotels. The Alchymist Prague Castle Suites was the best choice for us. Great location, personal service, private spa free of charge, wine and cheese hour every day. We will come back soon.

A very romantic and utterly charming place to spend time in Prague. Excellent location, opulent interiors and impeccable service. It was a truly magic experience for us and we'll definitely be back. The hotel amazingly matches the spirit of the city.

We really enjoyed the ambiance and the staff of the Alchymist Prague Castle Suites. We like staying at smaller hotels and this was all it promised to be. The common areas of the hotel felt like an extension of your room and the breakfast and "wine hour" were wonderful. We went to dinner at the sister hotel and really enjoyed... More

The hotel staff were by far the nicest I have ever come across. Our butler, Jacub, was incredibly attentive. All the reception staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I can truly say that I cannot imagine a more charming or comfortable hotel experience.

This place was an experience. When you stay in a luxury chain hotel, you know pretty much what you are going to get. Going luxury with a local brand is always an adventure, and not always a good one. This was a very bright spot in our trip to Prague. Location could not have been any better. The hotel is... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
