This boutique hotel is great for so many reasons--it's a unique and very clean venue, great location (close to the castle, Charles Bridge, and especially the Senate Gardens, but surprisingly quiet), fantastic breakfast spread (think brunch instead of breakfast), and terrific staff! Especially notable are the receptionists and my family's personal favourite, Georgi the butler--an incredibly thoughtful and gracious host... More

Your stay here will be both different and exquisite. Its a small property; only 8 rooms and that makes all the difference The entire staff is all over you (without being intrusive) to ensure you have a great stay. The managers (when you check in) will try and ensure they know what you would like to get out of your... More

Lovely boutique feel hotel. I booked this for mine and my boyfriends two year anniversary and my only complaint is I wish I had booked a longer stay. Rooms were absolutely beautiful and the hotel has two lovely jacuzzis and a sauna which you can book out. They even ran these for us on both occasions. There was also a... More

This was the second Alchymist property I stayed at in Prague, and in all the nice places I have stayed, this hotel ranks in my top 3 in the world. It is truly a boutique hotel with only eight rooms all named for precious stones. From the moment you are personally greeted until the time you check out, this attentive... More

The hotel name "castle suites" is a good definition for what you will find. This is a very nice small 5 stars hotel located on a quiet street close to Charles Bridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my third day at the hotel and unfortunately I have only 1 additional day to enjoy the place before... More

Not your average 5 star hotel. A boutique version with no lobby or bar but beautiful shared sitting rooms, a fabulous historic building and decor. All modern amenities and amazing service with your own personal butler. Multiple extras for free. All together a very different and wonderful hotel experience. Also a great location.

This hotel is wonderful! This staff is wonderful! This hotel is located on a small street in Little Quarter that is super quiet but close to restaurants, the Prague Castle, and many other things. It is on the quiet side of the river within easy walking distance to the Charles Bridge. The butler (yes that's what I said!) met us... More

This hotel is amazingly beautiful- the interiors were luxurious, the four poster bed was comfy to sleep on, the ceilings were a beautifully painted, I could go on and on. We returned to one of our favourite cities this May to introduce some friends to the wonders of Prague, and having stayed at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa a number of times, decided to experience their newest addition (The Castle Suites). This hotel is really something special. Not so much a hotel as a period house of grand proportions,... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
