5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We (two adult and a 7yr old girl) stayed for three days for my birthday weekend in April and every minute was special and wonderful. Right opposite the St Nicholas church and a stone's throw from Charles bridge, you can easily cover old town on foot. Perfect location and views, clean rooms and great jacuzzi. Attention to detail in every... More

Stayed for 3 nights and it was great! Great value for money. Location was absolutely great as well, 3 minutes walk to Charles Bridge and you can walk to almost everywhere. Nice and quiet neighborhood, definitely much better than Old Town Square, if you ask me.

Our family of four from Ct. stayed here for three nights. It was the perfect place in the center of Prague, close to all the great sites, but enough out of the way to have some peace and quiet an night, and to feel like you were in Prague not a tourist haven. Rooms were incomparable (with a cool hint... More

We stayed here for 9 days, and were thankful for the quiet luxury of our apartment to return to each afternoon. The Malostranská Residence is, I would guess, converted private apartments, around a central staircase and lift. Our room was on the 4th floor, with (thankfully) fully opening windows for some cool afternoon air. Streetnoise at that height is noticeable... More

Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were very clean, bathroom was large and modern. Loved the antique furniture and boutique style. Had a great view of Prague Castle from the apartment also a very short walk to the castle and Charles Bridge.

These are very good apartments ideally situated for visitors to Prague, trams stop literally outside and you can use these to reach all the main points of interest, especially the number 22. It is also on the better side of the river if you want a slightly more sedate nightlife although the bars and cafes are still excellent. The staff... More

We stayed at Hotel Malostranska Residence Prague for 4 nights in May 2015 This hotel was fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay! Obviously Prague is a must see destination being very beautiful, safe, and quite cheap. The hotel is well situated in the centre of everything, walking distance to all the top spots, just around the corner from the famous... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
