Comfy bed, clean, nice showers. Very boring, nothing happens, very hard to meet people. The 'bar' is just the reception, no real common area except breakfast table (which I generally don't have). Ok if you just want a quiet nights sleep, I like to meet new people and have fun. Checked out early in favour of a more social hostel.

Located right under "Miloss' windows" (Milos Zeman, current Czech president), this hostel offers great starting point to any location in the city. With my girlfriend we came there for two nights and wanted to have romantic weekend, but not expensive and wanted to be right in the center. When we came to the hostel, we were told that our room... We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff at the reception was very friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and relatively quiet. The location of the hostel was fantastic! Very close to Prague castle and also close to Charles' Bridge - two of the most important attractions in the city. The breakfast was also very worth the small... More

My friend and I came here for 1 night. The place was Clean and quiet. They provide fresh Clean linen and towels! Not your normal backpacking hostel. If you're looking for more peaceful hotel style with hostel price this is your place. They offer great exchange rate. We had a private room with twin beds. We had locked doors with... More

Walking distance from all the main attractions, the hostel was always super clean, specially the bathrooms, any time of the day. Beds were comfortable and the fabric of the sheets had great quality - nothing like those smelly old sheets you can find in hostels. Each bed had a locker, which was great, and breakfast was delicious for a great... More

Late review: my husband and I stayed here in June 2013. we enjoyed this hostel very much. The location was perfect: walking distance to the most fantastic places in Prague. The staffs at reception were always very friendly, the breakfast service was excellent. I felt good here. If I return to Prague we definitely will come back. Thank you

This hostel, although located up a very steep hill to walk with a 30lb backpack on, was excellent in every way. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm where the beds were so beautifully made, there were multiple bathrooms for our room, and the room was so quiet. The staff seemed a bit flustered, unable to give much advice on what... More

Gorgeous hostel in a prime location! The Little Qurater name comes fro mthe district, which is basically the old palace district of the city. Don't let the entrance fool you (WHich looks more like a money changers than a hostel!) - the rooms are HUGE. I stayed in a '5 person' room. The room was actually two 5 person rooms... More

The hostel is in a beautiful location, 20 minutes walk from the nearest tube and 10 minutes walk from Charles bridge. Inside it is spacious and very clean, perhaps a little old fashioned but that fitted in nicely with the historic vibe of the city. Breakfast cost 3euros and was really good, would definitely go back

I stayed in this hostel for a week and it was in a great location. It was within 5 to 10 minutes walk from a lot of attractions and a tram stop. It was super clean and the rooms were spacious. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm and had plenty of room. The staff were so helpful and friendly.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
