Great location, SUPER helpful staff (their front desk guy spent over an hour helping us print and scan things, without asking for a dime, and apologized for taking so long after all his help to boot - only wish I had asked his name so I could leave it here). Only drawback was lack of AC, but that was a... More

Beautiful decor. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great Location. We stayed here for 3 nights and had an excellent time. The room was lovely and the staff were very helpful from the moment we got there to the moment we left; they told us the best bars to go to, offered advice on where to visit and how to get... More

Me and a friend have just stayed here for 2 nights, considering the price, we got what we payed for. On arrival the woman behind the desk was very helpful and gave us a map and a list of several placea to go and visit. We had room 206, which was just for us and had a private bathroom. The... More

Amazing location! Right under the castle. So picturesque and really friendly staff. We stayed in a 10 person dorm which worked well. Good amount of storage under each bed with locks. Basic kitchen facilities with a rooftop terrace. Perfect WiFi available throughout entire hostel. Would definitely recommend. good tip- don't use the supermarket next door to the hostel! It's twice... More

Overall very clean and well kept hostel with accommodating staff. It was nice to not have bunk beds and the rooms were considerably large. A very quiet hostel in a quiet location, so perfect for the low key traveller. (no pub crawls here). A few oddities worth mentioning though, strange shower baths (?) with no shower curtains so a huge... More

Nice hotel located near the castle in a quiet neighbourhood. 5 min from the castle, 15-20 min from the city center (walk across Charles Bridge). Our room was large and clean ; we were very surprised and pleased to see that. Lovely terrace on the rooftop for evening "meeting" and breakfast. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Really interesting choice if you... More

Great breakfast with a view for 3.5 euro! Friendly staff and free computers in a lobby. Large rooms, clean and cosy beds. Great location in the city centre. I hope to get a room on the top next time for a romantic weekend.

Clean and quiet, super location just few steps away from the castle, with wonderful view of Saint Vita church tower, many great restaurants around, the most important is that the staff are really helpful and nice. Many thanks to the lady at the reception desk, definitely will visit again!

An amazing place! Yes, it doesn't have a common room but beside that everything is high quality. Breakfast is payed extra 3.5 euro but it's all you can eat, and not only cereal but also scrambled eggs, fried sausages, cold meats... loads of stuff! And if the weather is nice you can have breakfast on the terrace. Most comfy bed... More

Of all the hostels in which I have stayed, I really liked this place! Its quiet, very clean and very well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast is a excellent deal - as a buffet, plenty to choose from and eat.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
