Myself, husband, sister and friend stayed here for 4 days and loved the hotel. Our room was in the smaller side to my sisters but was more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom only had the shower in our room but that was fine with us. Good selection at breakfast. The staff were lovely and always pleasant.... More

This hotel is beautifully restored and offer a great location to see the whole old town on foot and stay in comfort. Hotel staff are especially friendly and helpful to the point where it almost became unbelievable. They shine at every opportunity and are genuinely happy to assist at any time. Situated in the old Jewish quarter, it is a... More

We stayed in the Caruso during the end of October 2015. This a small family run hotel. I was very clean and light and airy in the public spaces. The rooms ( our party had several) were all very good with huge beds and ample other furniture. Bathrooms were clean and adequately equipped. The lift was efficient. The hotel only... More

Loved the quaintness of this hotel. No air conditioner though. Get a room on upper floors to avoid noisy nights outside. Bar next door the Drunken Monkey is where to go for late night drink. Small bar in hotel iffy on hours and times. Breakfast was a delight. Everything a breakfast should be.

Very well located to access the old plaza within 5mn walk, in the Jewish district. Quiet, comfortable, spacious and clear room under the room, and very good service and breakfast. Good Wi-Fi connection. Nothing to complain but the bad smell in the bathroom, gone after 5mn of ventilation fan (but still!)

The hotel was centrally located in the Jewish quarter, and a five minute walk to the old town main plaza. The staff were helpful and courteous. Hotel was clean, basic and fulfilled our needs. Breakfast was very good with a nice breakfast room

This is a beautiful Hotel. The service was excellent, the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. Will stay there again if I go back to Prague. The only negative is that it is a listed building and so there is no air conditioning.

This was a great hotel. Old world, with big rooms. No aircon. The service was excellent and the breakfast amongst the best I've ever had. Fairly central and close to the river and the Charles Bridge is about a 15 minute walk away.

We found this hotel through a third-party site, and were very pleased with our stay. No, it is not a 4-star, but the accommodations were fine for my mother and I, who were here to enjoy this beautiful city-- not worried about the number of tv channels or the size of the tv. The room and bedding were fresh &... More

Old world charm in my favorite European city with everything you would need at a reasonable price. Location is superb, the breakfast one of the best you will find, rooms and bathrooms are of generous proportions but the true value behind this hotel is its staff. Czech people are fabulous, vibrant and accommodating the staff here are no different, service... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
