I just can't say enough good things about this hotel. A friend found this just days before we left for our trip. We booked it because of the great value. We were so impressed when we arrived, the staff were very friendly and professional. This is a small hotel, but it offers everything one would need on a budget including... More

Excellent service. We stayed a week, partially over Easter. Staff was very friendly and gave us new rooms when we had problems with our first rooms. Great breakfast. The hotel is in a nice area close to many attractions, but in a quiet area near an elementary school and hospital. Comfy rooms.

Before we even take the flight to Prague, we already had a big conflict with the hotel, regarding our bookings. Our first booking has been canceled. We tried to seek assistance from the hotel's reservation team. Unfortunately, we got blamed by making mistakes by the receptionist, who insisted that it was not the hotel's problem, after several phone calls back... More

There is hardly anything else I would ask from a hotel. The location is great: very downtown, but a quiet street, no noisy tourists walking at night. Cosy and clean room, elevator, huge bathroom, wonderful bed, great breakfast, amazing attitude to guests – I cannot remember being treated better than here. Price / quality ratio is absolutely the best. There... More

- Hotel Caruso's location is unbeatable. It simply doesn't get more central than this. - The service was good, all of our requests were responded to in a timely and friendly manner. - Our room was clean and comfortable, nothing to complain about. - I think the hotel has been recently refurbished, so that was a pleasant surprise.

A simple quiet hotel on the famous Parizska Street. Good location with free wifi, breakfast & good service. The breakfast was a decent spread & the staff were quite friendly & helpful. Perfect for the budget conscious. Highly recommended!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good location – just 5 min walking from the old town square. At the same time the hotel lacks a lot of things that one would expect in a 4* hotel. - Breakfast is simply descent enough. I had the same breakfast in 2-3* when I was staying in those. The only positive thing... More

I agree with the more recent reviewers. Hotel Caruso is very nice, clean, reasonably priced, well positioned and has helpful staff. Many of Prague's attractions are just a walking distance away from the hotel, which is great if you don't like spending all your time and money on taxis. Thanks to the staff's great advice, I got off the beaten... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
