very glad that I've chosen this aparthotel... young and pleasant staff... In the middle of the downtown, about 3 minutes of walk to Charles bridge. Everything you need is nearby Carolline. Very nice and spacious apartment for reasonable price. I think when you are about to travel to Prague with your family or your friend, this is one of the... More

We booked to stay for 4 nights in Hotel Carolline and were not disappointed! The owner, Helena, and her staff went out of their way to welcome us and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was bright, clean and spacious, perfect for the 2 of us. Great shower, a v comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast every morning in... More

Elena was the most gracious host we had in our month long trip. She went out of her way to help us and the free breakfast was delicious!! We will stay with her again. Highly recommend her place. The apartment was very comfortable and close to everything.

We recently stayed at the Hotel & Spa Carolline during our short three day visit to Prague. The apartments (they only have three of them) are nicely decorated with modern furniture and well appointed. Quite spacious and with painted ceilings. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, one bedroom, one bathroom and separate toilets. It is on... More

Perfect location in the center of Prague, 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square and Charles bridge. The room was really charming with amazing hand-painted wooden ceiling. The staff was nice and helpful. A lot of thanks to hotel owner for making us feel like home! We had a great time.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, esp the hotel owner, she was so nive. One really felt at home. Location is wonderful, just a walking distance to everywhere. Rooms are capacious and clean. Spa is nice there, with 20% discount for the guests. Better to ask them to arrange transportations from and to the hotel. This will be easier and... More

Booked through Oh Prague. Top floor apartment. No lift. Precarious stairs to bedroom and small terrace. But having got the only negatives out the way......... The owner was really friendly - cakes on arrival. Chicken snack box and more cakes mid-stay. Location (Karoliny Svetle) is perfect. Out the tourist bustle and a collection of about 10 high scoring restaurants within... More

Excellent! It's a very good place to stay in Prague. We have just been there for 3 days (20/23 february 2014). The aparthotel is a few minutes walking from the Charle's Bridge and from the Old Town Square. The appartment was charming, with an entirely hand-painted wooden beam ceiling. The rooms are spacious, confortables and provided of all the facilities... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
