Very nice hotel in a fabulous area. The hotel was a 2 minute walk to the main square. Thus there were lots of restaurants and shopping right out the front door. About 1.5km to the train station. We walked, it wasn't too bad. Room was nice and clean. We were on the top floor and had nice views of the... More

Booked through low cost holidays. Asked for two rooms for 3 adults + 1 seventeen year old. 2nd room was very uncomfortable sofa bed in lounge area with sheet slung over. Nothing like the pictures on website. Bathroom door didn't close properly. No mini bar as stated. No English TV channels. What gym??? Ran out of breakfast by 9am on... More

Having read previous reviews was a bit doubtful after booking but couldnt really fault this hotel. Our room was clean and very large with kitchen area, bed was very comfortable and clean towels every day albeit they werent big soft and fluffy but clean, looked liked our room had been refurbished. Location is excellent in centre of old town and... More

I cannot give a specific review concerning Hotel Residence Leon D’Oro, booked by me in July, as on my arrival on 9.09.2014 I was informed at the reception desk that my room is under renovation and I have to be transferred to another hotel, namely "Residence Bologna". I tried to disagree since the hotel I booked was more expensive than... More

The rooms on their website look beautiful and inviting - the real thing is far from it. The rooms were not well kept, the bathrooms allowed sewer gas smell that was disgusting. The front desk acted like they had no idea and that it was too bad. The beds are extremely hard and the sheets are like cardboard. The water... More

The location is just great in the heart of the old city, surrounded by Pubs. The rooms are good with small kitchen. It is a real deal for the cost per night. Definitely it is on my list for Prague from now on.

Stayed one night with my other half early September 2014. Firstly the service on the desk and in the restaurant was fine. That is the good stuff. Breakfast was adequate if uninspiring. That is the mediocre. The room was not so clean. The curtains did not close to cover the window (see picture). The bathroom taps literally screamed on opening... More

This place isn't the Ritz, but it's in a superb location in the old city allowing the visitor to explore Prague at leisure. The room we were placed in was plain but comfortable and clean. It was of a good size with a separate kitchenette. There was no street noise and the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, though... More

I thought this hotel was quite good. Would rave over it, but the location is excellent. Close to everything. Good breakfast in an elegant dining room. Television was very old, up too high and with no remote. Had a street view which was good. Room a bit dull. Having said that I would stay at this hotel again, based on... More

The main advantage of this hotel is terrace rooms, and its location. If you are looking for romantic place, at the very center of Prague, to get few days (especially evenings) observe and feel the city from the roof height - Leon D'Oro for you. WRT personnel, only one lady who worked on reception was really helpful and did her... More
