We stayed in this hotel for a weekend in Prag and were amazed by how close the walking distance to all the sights, shops and restaurants were. Overall the hotel was clean and modern, with friendly receptionists. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows and covers light and soft. The room was small but nevertheless equipped with a tea... More

Food was was good, and the all night bar was a good idea. Staff very friendly. Our room keys kept malfunctioning as we kept putting them with our phones (don't) Clean, modern and the lighting idea is perfect. The reception staff gave wonderful recommendations and the map they provided was invaluable. I would highly recommend the some of the tours... More

The hotel was clean and modern, staff were all friendly and extremely helpful giving advice on where to go in Prague. The bed was definitely the best part!

I'm not sure why my views differ so much from the rest of the views here, but having stayed at Moods for 2 nights I still cannot comprehend why this Hotel deserved a 4 star when it is at most, in my opinion, a 3. The Marriott Hotel (situated nearer to Palladium and the Old town) which is clearly an... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
