We spent three nights in the Bellagio, and we were quite impressed by the friendliness of the receptionist on our arrival. In addition she, and later a male colleague, was very helpful in giving us directions to the main sights in the city, and booking river tours. The hotel is extremely close to the city centre, the 'Old Town Square"... More

This hotel was perfect. We came for a long weekend for the other halfs birthday and stayed 4 nights. The hotel phoned up and booked a restauarnt for the birthday night for me so that the other half didn't know, and then left a birthday card and chocolate as a birthday gift for him. Great breakfasts ina vaulted restaurant in... More

Visited Prague for a threee night stay and found this Hotel to be a little Cracker! The staff were very friendly and so helpful. Room was of a good size, comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities with large walk in shower. Great location, Old Town just a five minute walk away and rest of the sites easily reached on foot.... More

My family stayed at the Hotel Bellagio in Prague for 4 days over the Christmas vacation and loved the hotel--it is a small boutique hotel with warmth and friendliness. It is in the Josefov neighborhood, about 5 minutes walk to the Old Town Square and the Tyn Church. We requested, and received an non-smoking room which was comfortable for three... More

The Bellagio is simply an excellent hotel. Location: The Bellagio is located about a minute walk from the cluster of Synagogues in the Jewish Ghetto, about two to three minutes from the Old Town Square, and a little more than five from the Charles Bridge. The Rudolfinum is also about two minutes away. So in terms of sightseeing, the location... More

We stayed at the Bellagio in June 2007 as part of a group tour. Overall, it is a great boutique hotel and we would definitely stay here again. The hotel is in a great location—a quiet side street, just a few blocks from all the attractions in Old Town. Our room was clean, well decorated and in very good condition.... More

This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower and bathroom is one of the biggest and most luxurious I've seen in my travels through Central and Eastern Europe. Front desk staff was very helpful in assisting us with train schedules, dinner reservations, calling for cabs, and private tours... More

I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday after several recommendations from friends. The Bellagio is in a quiet area of Prague and ideally situated near the river with easy access to both the Castle area and the Old Town. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need (including tea/coffee). All the hotel staff were very helpful and... More

My friend and I are just back from 6 days in Prague. What a spectacular city. Go ahead, book it!! And, if you are lucky enough to stay at the Bellagio, you're sure to enjoy it. This boutique hotel is a true gem in a perfect location. I really don't understand all the fuss over the breakfast room from past... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
