We spent almost a week at Hotel Clement while we explored Prague on foot. The hotel is on a quiet side street but close the city centre and within 5 minutes walk you can be in one of the main squares. It is a comfortable hotel and our 'superior' room on the top floor was well equipped and had a... More

Lovely hotel. Clean & contemporary. Welcoming reception & very helpful. Nice decor throughout. Wonderful large buffet breakfast, friendly staff, lots of variety, good quality food & coffee & selection of teas and juices. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel in Prague.

We spent 5 days last week at this hotel during a short holiday in Prague. The hotel lived up to all the good reviews that we had read and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We had a superior room on the 8th floor which had a nice view and was very well equipped. The staff were so... More

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast and coffee hot and cold selection, fresh fruits, cakes, breads, jams everything fresh and well presented. Very nice rooms which we found to be very quiet and peaceful considering the hotel was full. Nice little restaurants a minute or two walk in either direction or five minute walk to the main square, although be prepared that the... More

Lovely hotel, staff was excellent and helpful, breakfast was delicious. Wish our stay had been longer. Easily able to walk to old town. Shuttle was a car service, fairly pricey but efficient and very pleasant

The exterior does not quite reflect the interior which was warm and inviting. Check in was seamless even though our tour leader did it all for us. The staff from check in to the cleaning staff were polite and professional ready to assist when asked. The room was big, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The daily breakfast had... More

Me and my wife want to thank the hotel staff for making our stay at the hotel a relaxing and enjoyable one during our visit to Prague recently. This is more so after our tiring flight from Malaysia with a airport transfer in Paris to Prague. We truly like the superior rooms with those curved windows facing the river, the... More

Very well located, near the centre but enough separated from the too crowded tourist streets, with a comfortable environment and with a staff very friendly and extremely helpful. It is also important to highlight the breakfast and the quiet atmosphere in the common areas.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
