After staying at Hotel Clement for 5 weeks, I'm torn between giving a 3 or 4 star review. So, I gave 3 and here's why (and I'll start with the negatives): Despite keeping the 'Do Not Disturb' sign out, housekeeping will still come in the room, and access to the room was given to the technician (who falsely accused us... I stayed here for 5 weeks and was very pleased with this hotel. I liked the airport pickup a lot, plus the beds here are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The staff here are willing to help you with any concerns or questions, however when you see Jakub you will be in for a real treat. He goes... More

Clement Hotel was the perfect place to spend a short break in Prague with my wife and 2 more couples. A 10 minutes walk from Old Town Square. Just load yourself with a good breafast from the hotel's choice of french, english or international food to get your daily tour started. Near by you can find some shops to buy... More

Really nice hotel great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Realy did feel at home and had a very enjoyable stay. Near to the old town staff helped us find places we wanted to see including the Letka football stadium and the Jewish cemetery.

Upon check in was upgraded to a beautiful room on the top floor of the hotel with views of the Vlatva River. Flat screen TV (not many English speaking channels), coffee machine, mini bar, slippers and robe. Lovely bed with comfortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of hot and cold options. Staff are very helpful,... More

We were in Prague for 3 nights and this hotel was selected by the package seller. It's very conveniently situated for the Old Town - only 5 mins walk. it is in a quiet street and. The room was fine overlooking the central courtyard. It wasn't all that large but OK for the two of us. The breakfast buffet were... More

Located in a seedy area surrounded by boarded-up buildings and adjacent to a drug rehab centre. The pre-arranged meeting place at the railway station is changed without notification or apology. Young man at reception refused to contact tour companies other than the single one with which the hotel has an arrangement. Another time he also refused to recommend a restaurant... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
