I was absolutely happy with everything, can't find anything to complain about. We had a private bedroom with a balcony and a private bathroom. The room was clean and the breakfast was awesome. At our last day they even gave us doggybags so we could pack up some stuff for the trip back home, never had that befor. It's also... More

My groups of friends and I all said we were impressed with the hostel and would come again, and were surprised at how nice such reasonably priced accomodation was. I stayed for two nights in a private 4-bed dorm with an en suite. The beds were bunk beds, the mattresses were very comfortable, each with a lamp and shelf, and... More

Very hip and trendy, probably less appropriate for an older person unless they like partying till late and night clubbers in the hotel lobby. The separate wing is so nice and very private. Service was lovely and the hotel is above standard. In a fantastic area.

We (a couple, 30 year-old) stayed at Mosaic House for a long weekend. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to the new appartments of Mosaic; beautiful, luxurious accommodation. We enjoyed our stay a lot, the staff is friendly and knows the best spots in Prague. The bar is a nice meeting place for the early evening. The hotel is... More

The room we stayed in was clean and tidy and more akin to a hotel room than a hostel. The bar downstairs is a great place to meet people and to start the evening, they often have a live band and also organise a brilliant bar crawl.

The facility is impressive. It's located close to the subway station. The staff is incredibly nice, even going as far as to get us to play Xbox games or offer advice. The place is large with a lot of clean rooms. I just wish that Mosaic would provide basic amenities like body wash and shampoo rather than charging for them.

nice hostel for young people. The room was pretty clean & there were many activities in the hotel (dancing, parties). The lounge was also a quite comfortable place to chill out and listen to music. The staff was kind and provided a map and tips on what to do and see in Prague. Above all, the location was very good.

I was looking for an artsy place to stay as I didn't want to go to soul-less hotel that you can find everywhere. But I also didn't want to spend a lot on some pricey place. So it was perfect. It looks nice, the atmosphere is great and you are always surprised by wall art, sculptures etc. Just walking down... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
