The Friday Hotel had a very large room with an excellent breakfast. The location almost couldn't have been better with it being only about a five minute walk to the Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square, and only ten minutes to Charles Bridge. The price was very fair and while staying here you are definitely in the heart of the... More

This is a fabulous hotel. It is right In the heart of the old town. He had a fabulous room and great breakfast. The staff was very cheerful and helpful every day. What was perfect was that when we needed an hour to rest it was so central we could run up have a rest and head back out. I... More

The hotel has late check-out at noon and that suited us well. Our room was very nice with a double bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast very good with the best coffee machine I have ever seen and guests are invited to make use of it 24 hours/day. The driver that took us to the airport spoke... More

I prepaid the hotel in a website so the check in was very fast. I sent them an email saying I was arriving early in the morning as I was coming by train at 7am and they promptly answered saying I could check in early by paying half rate which I expected. It must be pretty new or renovated, carpets... More

This hotel is in an excellent location just around the corner from Old Town Square and Wenceslas square. We booked a jacuzzi room and the first that we were given was beautiful, however the bath plug did not go down and would have resulted in one of us undoubtably injuring ourselves on it and the tap ran constantly, having called... This is my 2nd time to stay at Friday Hotel and it continues to be a nice place to stay in Prague. The location was perfect, the room was clean and the staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, and either sausages or bacon. There was also the usual assortment of breads, cereals, yogurt, meats and cheeses. I... More

Sited in the middle of the pedestrian area just by the theatre, this hotel is ideal for a city break. The welcome was warm and friendly and first impressions were very favourable. The room was super - well appointed with everything you would expect / need. Not great views , but then it was a city centre hotel . Breakfast... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
