This is a great location to touring the city sites. Breakfast was hearty and having coffee /tea in the breakfast room was nice especially as there is no coffee/kettle in the room. It was very hot and the AC in our room was not working well.also the jacuzzi tub did not function and a hook on the back of the... More

Great service, nice rooms and ideal location.Great breakfast selection and the all day tea/coffee is a nice touch. The subdued lighting in the rooms did become an issue for those of us wishing to apply makeup, but it was bordering on being too dark when functional was required.Maybe it was style over substance? I would definitely return to Friday's (with a torch, though!).

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our air conditioning was not working on the first night as we were accommodated the following day with a new room plus jacuzzi. Breakfast was superb and the rooms were so clean. All receptionists were extremely mannerly and helpful. We will certainly return on our next visit to prague.

Such a good hotel, from the moment you walk in the hotel has great character and a good continental feel. The receptionist were very helpful and had us booked into our rooms quickly. The rooms were a good size, and the decor is quite a flamboyant shall we say, but this all adds to the appeal of the hotel. The... More

Wonderful hotel right in the centre of Prague, check in was very quick but a bit of a walk from where the taxi dropped us off as hotel is in pedestrian zone. The Hotel was amazingly clean and very well furnished and decorated, we had 3 rooms booked all of which had a slightly different decor, very quirky and such a... More

The Friday Hotel had a very large room with an excellent breakfast. The location almost couldn't have been better with it being only about a five minute walk to the Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square, and only ten minutes to Charles Bridge. The price was very fair and while staying here you are definitely in the heart of the... More

The hotel has late check-out at noon and that suited us well. Our room was very nice with a double bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast very good with the best coffee machine I have ever seen and guests are invited to make use of it 24 hours/day. The driver that took us to the airport spoke... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
