Spent five nights at this hotel read a lot of mixed reviews, but honestly staff were very warming and friendly, buffet breakfast was plentiful and replenished throughout the morning. Room was big clean and lovely modern bathroom. Kitchen area was a bonus for tea/coffee making. Location was ideal for Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff are very helpful and most friendly, booking taxis and making reservations on request. Our room was more than adequate for a couple. The bathrooms were of a high spec for 3 star accom. The only issue was that the main shower head wouldnt turn on. But the secondary hand shower was more than fine. Could do with a... More

It's one of the few times that I was completely satisfied from the services of a hotel. The receptionists were kind, the breakfast was fine for the price, the room was clean, and the hotel was near the center. We booked a triple room and it was nice and modern decorated, with the facilities that we expected. Large wide screen... More

Adorable hotel, in excellent spot though ten minutes walk for the metro. Price and quality meets. Comfy and decor with Ikea furniture and a balkany to the inner yard. For us the bed was very nice to sleep in. You could have made food in the hotel and there were some dishes too. There was also an electric kettle but... More

I came to Prague for professional training (business) - 4 nights. I cannot complain about this hotel. Pluses: very good location - very close to city center (10-15min walk to Charles Bridge) but not noisy, nice room in modern design+modern bathroom (come if you like purple/brown/white colours:), good breakfast and good/normal choice, clean hotel, personnel speaking English and helpful Minuses:... I was at PurPur for three night. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Front desk staff was profesional, but not smiling and not so helpfull. Rooms are ok, but bathroom was small and water outgoing was really bad. But for that money good three star hotel.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
