The hotel is very central for all that Prague has to offer. Very friendly staff and the cleanliness was top notch. The food was excellent and great choice for breakfast although there are many superb eateries in the same road. One word of caution and that is DON'T use the Thai massage centre situated in the basement. There are posters... More

Stayed here for one weekend, and the hotel was really amazing. We came around 2 p.m. with the car, you can leave the car in front of the hotel for 15minutes while you check in. Valet parking is in the price of parking, and the stuff driving are really professionals. Location was perfect, 7minutes walk from the main square, and... More

This is an excellent hotel with friendly & efficient staff. The location is perfect for exploring Prague Old Town. We used the hotel airport transfer service which was efficient and well-priced (although please be aware drivers in Prague are allowed to use mobile phones whilst driving so this was a bit disconcerting as our driver was on the phone quite... We stayed at the Grand Majestic Plaza for three nights in February. After a 30minute taxi ride from the airport we arrived at the hotel. We weren't able to check-in until 2pm and as we had arrived really early we left our bags with the hotel and went for a walk. The hotel is located on a side street near... More

I think that my title sums it all up.This was our first time visiting Prague, and I would MOST definitely recommend this hotel! The situation is ideal, in a small, quiet side street, just far enough away from the main roads to not hear any traffic noise, yet near enough for the shops etc. to be easily accessible. The Hotel... Booked through the internet based on website details and photos. Situated in a quiet narrow street just around the corner from the Palladium Shopping Centre. Once through the narrow hotel entrance you were enlightened to the expanse of the interior. Reception staff were polite and quickly took our registration details. Our room on the second floor was more than adequate,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
