A great location in the heart of Old Town. A short walk away from the square, clock and bridge. Very busy area after 11am. Hotel was clean and tidy with good facilities. Breakfast was a bit bland but staff were helpful when we needed taxis, etc. Rooms were clean just need clean towels everyday of the stay for me as... More

Close to all the sights. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast! Shops and restaurants only three minutes walk. 24 Hour reception, excellent for check in at midnight or check out before eight. Charles bridge and old town square within walking distance.

The Room was small but very nice, neat and very comfortable. Perfect location, close to the Charles Bridges and other great sightseeing location. Receptionist was very helpful and knew the area very well so she gave us great tips what to see first. We will be defiantly coming again to this Hotel.

Found the hotel by accident on the internet and found it to be a pleasant surprise. Small but full of special features. Good air conditioning and Wifi and a very helpful staff. The location is clearly the best part. There are some great Czech restaurants nearby. The bridge and castle are a short walk and the main square is also... More

This hotel is located just half a block from the Charles Bridge. You couldn't find a more convenient location for a tourist. There are many restaurants, high end shops, tourist attractions located nearby. It is an old hotel but the rooms are modern. There is an elevator, not that common in old European hotels. The front desk staff speaks English... More

The hotel for us was is in a really good location, everything was within walking distance and theres something in each direction. 5/10 min walk from Charles bridge - which is lovely in the early morning before all the crowds desend. It was clean and well kept, not complaints on it. We had a room that was on the street,... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to the Charles Bridge, Metro, Old Town. The room is generally OK. Free Wifi. Breakfast is alright, although it won't by adding a little more varieties. You get to order your preferred way of doing the eggs. Breakfast isn't served until 8am. It is also near to a couple... I have stayed at Liliova Hotel on five occasions during my recent three trips to Europe. Being Australian, I am not hard to please. We tend to accept some inconveniences in places where the buildings are hundreds of years old, which provide the ambiance for what I was there for. Being about 350 years old, this building could only have... More

We initially asked for quiet room high. We got but the steps up! The airconditioning didn't work sweated through the night - moved same issue. Then again bags down the stairs - lift up but room tired but air did work! Beds hard in this room. Not sure if it is possible to get a reasonable room quiet high with... More

Everything else is just average, and the room bill came in higher than what was "estimated" by Booking.com (the bill from another hotel in Hungary was right on the what was quoted) . The breakfast is below par and after a couple of days we got tired of it and went to the excellent French cafe Paul instead. Despite being... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
