I was in Little town only for one night but it was very good. It's situated in the heart of Prague, near to the Castle and the Dome, just some steps. Wonderful people at service, very clean rooms with kitchen and bathroom, very clean clothes! Cheap - it's important too! Ii's really like a town, with a restaurant and a... More

This hotel was in a lovely location. From the airport is was an easy + cheap trip by train + tram to hotel (using hotels directions). The room was clean + quiet. We had our own private room + bathroom that was fantastic. WIFI was slow from rooms but they have internet in the computer rooms if needed. Staff are... More

This hostel is a really good place! Our room was big and beautiful with kitchen and table and everything you need. The shared bathroom was also big and very clean! Staff is very helpful and nice, even when you get there in the middle of the night. The locations is very good! You´ve got the magnificent St. Nicholas Church right... More

Really good value hotel just 5 minutes away from St Charles Bridge, friendly and helpful English speaking staff. We stayed in a 3 and a 4 bedroom dorm, with great facilities: electric hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel which we didn't go to.

Having spent a month Interrailing around Europe in various hostels, Little Town was definitely the best place we stayed in. Our room had a kitchen in it - a luxury for poor travelling students! The staff were lovely as well and so friendly. It's perfectly located as well, right in the heart of Prague at the foot of the castle... More

I have no complain of Little Town Budget Hotel during my week long stay there. The staffs were very warm and helpful whenever i popped in the 24-hr reception to ask for information. I stayed in a 8 bed dormitory, which was furnished with a kitchen, bathroom, closet and individual lockers. The first impression I had when I entered the... More

I organised a karting event for my friends in Prague back in November. 13 of us stayed at the Little Town Hotel and had an amazing time. The staff were very helpful and the rooms clean and spacious. The hotel is in the perfect location, in between Charles Bridge and the Castle which makes it really easy for exploring Prague.... More

I stayed for two nights And it was great. You could litterally eat off floor... Washroom was small but still nice, shower had curtain which is a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location!! They let us stay in hotel and hang out even after check out because our train was later at night.

We stay at the Little Town Budget Hotel in October 2010 for 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Not only is Prague a beautiful city but this hotel is perfect. We arrived by train at 6am in the morning and made our way to the Hotel to store our bags which was no problem for the extremely friendly... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
