Great location, very friendly staff, lots of tourism information available. Rooms could be better for the price, however they were clean. Internet in the rooms is not very good but works well in common areas. Location compensates for any flaw, though

The rooms, the location, the staff, the prices...all perfect. We booked a room at the price of about $30USD per night, expecting to get a room with the typical European two twin beds put together. What we got: a three room suite that had 6 twin beds in total, a large bathroom with shower and bidet, a kitchenette with little... More

Everything was beautiful. There was a kitchen in our room for us to cook. Hotel was really close to center and Charles bridge. And there was a mini market just below the hotel. Staff was nice but house keeping cant speak English.

the Hostel is nicely located and has friendly staff. We stayed in an ensuit two bed bedroom, which doubled as family room with extra beds and child dresser. It had a poorly stocked kitchen (only one pot, no cutting knives) all not very well cleaned, prior our arival. This was advertised as fully functional kitchen. It has no oven, thus... More

The location of this hotel is perfect. Practically within walking distance from everything to see in Prague. If you travel with car, it will be impossible to find parking space near the hotel. Basic room, older furniture.

It was a brilliant place to stay: a lot of space furnished with old nice cabinets on boards and parquet, a fully equipped kitchen and a very clean bathroom. Amongst the nice inner courtyard there was a beautiful place with a church in front of us and nice little cafés and shops where just a minute away.

Great location, big clean spacious room and bathroom. Dodgy wifi but there is a computer you can use. Staff let us print train tickets at reception. We were a bit disappointed on check-in to find out that breakfast would not be provided and were given a small discount instead. This was frustrating as being able to have breakfast at the... More

Rally nice staff. Clean and big room on the 2nd floor. We were really suprised because of a kitchen annexe in a room with a tableware and pans. Very comfortable beds. Wonderful window view. It was a very good decision to stay in this hotel.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
