It's 3am and I cannot sleep, as you have likely surmised from the title of my review. I chose this hotel because the friends I traveled with were nearby and their hotel was booked. The reviews were favorable, and to be frank, I thought I had calibrated my expectations accordingly. Words like "charming" (small), "quaint" (old), and "rustic" (cold) are... More

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry for misunderstanding. When you have booked the room it was mentioned that was with external bathroom / you were the only one using it, and only one having a key/. All other rooms has bathrooms inside. So nobody else use it.. It is a pitty that the receptionist did not mentioned... More

The staff is very helpful, and if you have any special request they will defintely help you, all you need to do is send an email to them. If you ask them to arrange for a taxi from the airport, they will charge you 25 euros. The breakfast is usually included in their stay and even if not i would... More

........so if it's the only important factor for you than you should stay here. Nothing "Butique" about this place so pls don't advertise it that way as it's completely misleading. We stayed at Corto b&b for 3 nights in August 2015. The room is based on the 5'th floor in old building with no elevators /lifts. Due to high ceilings... More

I am really sorry about your negative imressions in Pension Corto. Nevertheless you knew that you have booked the room on the fifth floor without elevator and with external bathroom, That s why you have got a special rate. I have to admit that those days were extremly hot in Prague, the highest temperatures ever mesured in Czech Republic. Hopefully... More

We enjoyed every minute of our six day stay at this hotel because of its prime location in the heart of the old town near the Old Town and Wenceslas Squares and also thanks to the staff of the hotel. Yana and Suzanna at reception and at breakfast were competent and very helpful- always greeting us with a smile. The... More

We were satisfied, location is excellent and no any problems with hotel By itself neither. Happily we stayed in first floor with windows to Havelska Market. Few nights some noise from the street but it was shortly over and was not disdurping us at all, more nice was watching market from the window at day time. Breakfast was nice, not... More

Stayed here in November with friends, booking via Prague Experience so really took pot luck with the hotel... but we were lucky! The location was brilliant, between Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square, near to lots of local bars and shops but in a relatively quiet street. There is a market for food and souvenirs open every day outside (which... More

The Pension Corto is a very good pension. It's placed in the centre of the City. Everything is very close to it. Rooms are nice and comfortable with a nice view on a traditional market. The service was friendly and always there to help. Breakfast was tasty and delicious so as other food such as pizza and pasta.

Pretty good hotel in the center of old town. We had a room on the 5 floor and this was a big problem. Very hard to get and not only with bags. We had no normal windows and terrible small of food from who knows where. But we knew that we would have our room so high so it was... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
