Absolutely over this hotel. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning and was debating between the Buddha bar and other bigger hotels, but, I have to admit, this hotel was a no brainer. It is ideally located near a lot of bars/restaurants, only 5 mins from Old Town Square. The service from beginning to end was impeccable. They have... More

Travelled to Prague for my birthday, and absolutely loved the hotel! The staff are very considerate, and thought of little things like chocolates (extremely yummy ones) in the room, weather updates for the days we were there. We were also given the yummiest lychee- ginger welcome drink (Must go to the bar downstairs and ask for it, its not on... More

Good experience and close to old town square. If you are visiting Prague and want to stay near old town, it will be a great choice. Pro- Excellent décor, nicely shown room number- lighted marble piece shows a room number in the place of doormat. The location is very key- in between powder tower and old town square. The staff... I really like this small and cosy hotel in Prague. It's located in the city centre with walking distance to old town, shopping, many good restaurants and bars. Don't miss the Restaurant in the basement. Fantastic food and service.

Buddha Bar is a top notch hotel without all the stuffiness and stiffness of some of the premium 5 star grand hotels you get with their over elaborate decor and general attitude. All the staff were very accommodating and smiley, breakfast every morning was good and varied. Don't be afraid to ask at this hotel as they will always definitely... More

Lovely hotel and location however we were maybe unlucky that the two days we were there we had no room heating as it was not working. Also we had prebooked the additional treatment of spa with fireplace and sauna etc however this was also not working. On a good note the staff were really friendly and helpful, room was lovely... We stayed a couple of days over new year and had a very good time. Friendly staff, very clean room and cozy atmosphere. Might be slightly overpriced, but that may have also been due to a rather short notice booking and the new year time.

Buddha Bar is our go-to hotel in Prague. The staff is the greatest, not stuffy at all and the beds are the best in Europe (Even better than Four seasons or the Ritz.) Had two rooms for our family and everything went as one would hope.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
