The Hostel is located in the heart of Prague, 5 mins away from the old town square. The staff is very friendly, even at night. The gave me very useful tips and also maps and bonus vouchers. The breakfast is not known for its variety, but you can eat as much as you want. The rooms are clean.

Stayed here with a friend in a double room for a few days in prague and we had a great time. All the areas were clean and for for purpose. Toilets and showered were obviously cleaned daily and kept to a good standard. The room was spacious and the dorm rooms we saw into were also of a good size.... More

We stayed here with a group of 30 students during a May term study experience. The location cannot be beat. They had great recommendations for everything from where to eat, what to see, what tour guide companies to use, etc. I had a private room with shared shower and toilet. Some rooms slept up to 8. Very clean. Breakfast was... More

It is located right by the main attractions, next to subway stations. The hostel is ok, there is a public kitchen, which is really helpful to save money. The staff is really kind and gave us great tips about the city. There isn't a bar, a negative point.

This place is livable at best for the price you pay, but I would not recommend this hostel. The staff split our group of three up, sending two to their sister hostel across the square and were unbelievably rude when I asked to be moved as well. The breakfast was just cereal and a sandwich, the kitchen was a disaster,... More

This was my first visit to prague and first time staying in a hostel. The prague square hostel was adequately clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches we got for lunches weren't awesome but they did the trick. I found it to be a little cramped and small and they were lots of parties going on... More

Well, I have seen many hostels in the last years when I travelled in Canada etc. but this hostel was one of the worst I have ever stayed! Unluckely I booked here for 5 nights... Breakfast: You just get some poor cornflakes and one sandwich. I decided to take the sandwich for vegetarians, but it was with cheese and egg.... More

We stayed in a double private room on Christmas eve and Christmas day and had an absolute blast. Everyone there was awesome, the pub crawl was great, and everything was really clean with a cool vibe. The hostel was right in the middle of everything great location. Definitely recommend the Sandeman's walking tour!

Very central location, within walking distance for major tourist attractions. Kind and helpful staff. Breakfast very basic but free so no complaints. FREE WIFI WOO. The shower situation is a little awkward for the ladies - communal shower area for those who do not have an en-suite. Other than this minor issue, my stay here was problem free.

We really enjoyed this hostel. They provide a free breakfast and sandwich we used for lunch. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned regularly and the staff were brilliant. Free walking tours and the Prague pub crawl pick you up from the hostel, both of which are great fun. The wifi is a bit sporadic but the location is excellent being... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
