This is a good location close to the main train station and tram line. The hotel was a very clean hotel. My room had a nice bathroom. I thought that the hotel had a nice breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was helpful. My room was a large room with 2 single beds. The hotel had good wifi connection. The room... More

Location is wonderful, just across from main train station and short walk to Old Town and Wencesclaus Square. We also walked to Prague Castle but that is a bit more of a hike. The breakfast was decent with all the European traditional continental breakfast items represented. Front desk staff were pleasant, didn't need to interact with them beyond check-in/check-out. The... I was here for business, one night. The Hotel is in a really convenient location, and very quiet despite being next to the main train station and the tram lines. Everything in the hotel is very clean and the room was surprisingly big and comfy. The breakfast was very basic, the wi-fi was great and the bed was comfy. If... More

This hotel is just right across the Central Station and can be good when travelling around Europe by train. The hotel is located near some minimarts, historic sites. The breakfast is what you could except for the price paid.

This hotel locates in front of metro station and behind a tram station. It's a few steps from everything; money change offices, shopping area, restaurants, liberaries abd pubs. The place is quiet, yet so safe. The staff is friendly especially Lia; this beautiful receptionist. The room was clean, bright and clean. I would go again definitely.

Two good points: location near the train is not very central but convenient and price is reasonable. Overall though this was a very disappointing experience especially since 8 years ago when we stayed at this hotel when it was still a Holiday Inn it was an excellent budget place to stay in Prague. Some of the problems we experienced (apologize... More

This hotel bang opposite the main railway station is the best location you can have in Prague. Near to markets, money exchanges, cafes, minimarket, old town, etc. Good rooms, with tea/coffee making machine, gave me room at 7.30 in morning without extra charge, reception persons very helpful and quiet even though just opposite main station. What more you can ask for... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in Prague at this hotel. Very modern and clean inside. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Fantastic location for easy walking to Wenceslas square and all the main sites. Opposite the train station, so it was easy to take a day trip to Kutna Hora. I would stay here again, and will recommend... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
