A very nice family-sized room overlooking the railway station park. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located and within walking distance of the city-center attractions. Overall, we were pleased with the visit.

We chose Chopin because of its location, right across Prague's main railway station. It takes literally two minutes to walk to the hotel from the station. Well, fortunately for us, that wasn't the only good thing about the hotel. It’s a very unassuming regular business hotel but in terms of comfort and quality, it definitely does a pretty good job.... We stayed there over the Christmas holidays after last minute change in plan. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the main station across from a park, 15 minutes from the city center/Old Jewish Center/8 minutes from underground station, major grocery store & restaurants. The room is big with decent sized bed. The window is double glazed so you don't... More

stayed in this hotel for a night in JULY 2014.Arrived late around 11pm from munich by train. It was just opposite the Prague railway Station once you cross one garden . The rooms were very spacious, neat , tidy with free wi fi. The lighting in the room was very ambient and my room was facing on the road towards... More

The hotel is just across the main station. You pass through a nice park and a partly pedestrianized street to get to the hotel. The room is decent-sized and comfortable. Although our room faced the street, it was very quiet. We met only one front desk staff - he was very helpful, including providing us with transit passes and maps... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is literally a 5min walk from Prague's main train station, saving you the trouble of looking around or using taxis when you arrive. It is also a 10 min walk from the new town square. This makes it ideal for sight seeing. The windows are double glazed and you can... More

This hotel has a good price quality balance. Main pluspoint is the excellent situation in front of the main station of Praha. Only breakfast. No restaurant. The reception is open 24 hours a day. We compare it with Ibis from the Accor group

After flying into Prague,it was nice to be able to take the Airport Express bus to the Prague Main Train station and then just walk a block to the Chopin. The room was fine although the carpet had some nasty stains, the non-smoking room smelled a bit smoky, and the ventilation was noisy. The breakfast was very good.

Arrived at this hotel on a recent group trip knowing nothing about it and was impressed. The location is excellent. Only minutes away from shops and places of interest. The railway station is only about 100mtrs away also. The Hotel itself is clean and very modern inside. Rooms are small but perfectly formed. Our room was a double and it... More

While the quality of the hotel and location are great, the staff is sub par. Let me clear, they were not rude. We came with friends and they gave my party separate rooms. We were told, since I had the oldest child, that I had the biggest room. Not true. The sq footage was greater in our friends' room who... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
