We arrived at the hotel after 7.5 hours bus ride from Heidelberg. There isn't any train service from Heidelberg (and some cities in Germany) to Prague. The Eurail pass we had is used for the IC Bus instead. The IC bus stop shares with a few other intercity buses. When you arrived in Heidelberg station, take the left exit, make... More

The hotel is situated at a good location near the central train station and not far from the city centre. Very clean rooms en good breakfast. The rooms are also well isolated, it's very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. If the rooms had closets for clothes, it would be perfect!

I booked this hotel because it advertised air conditioning, but despite a May heatwave up to 30 degrees and multiple requests, management refused to turn it on, telling me to open the window- over a busy Prague street near the train station. Shower curtain was also mouldy and smelly- not helped by the lack of air conditioning.

Very clean room. Good location near to the train station, however, not in the city center. Good breakfast, but it could have more variety. No mini bar, no fridge in the room. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.

During four days no one made the bed. They didn't put new towels all days, only the day before to our check-out. When I talked with the front desk, they write a note but nothin happens. If you need a hotel I recommend you that look for another Hotel

The greatest advantage of this hotel is its location. The extreme nearness to the Hlavni Nadrazi station makes it ideal for train travellers. Also the staff is great. The room was clean, but a bit small which is typical of European hotels. It is also very near to the metro station.

The hotel is the closest to the railway station which was important in my case. I was not disappointed with what I got for my money though people say Praha 1 district is overpriced. Hotel is not quite new but clean. Breakfast was good for a 3 star place. Despite being next to major road and station the noice level... More

I had a really good stay at the Chopin hotel. It is located opposite the main train station, with tram and metro stops both close by so you can get to most places in Prague really easily from the hotel. I arrived by train, so this was an excellent location, but if you arrive by air you should be able... More

A very satisfactory 3 night stay - our first time in Prague. Excellent location - everything in easy walking distance - metro(at main train station), Wenceslas Square, Old Town, the river, across to the Castle. Twin room was a generous size: immediate favourable impression was it was furnished like a Holiday Inn Express and turns out the hotel used to... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
