The greatest advantage of this hotel is its location. The extreme nearness to the Hlavni Nadrazi station makes it ideal for train travellers. Also the staff is great. The room was clean, but a bit small which is typical of European hotels. It is also very near to the metro station.

The hotel is the closest to the railway station which was important in my case. I was not disappointed with what I got for my money though people say Praha 1 district is overpriced. Hotel is not quite new but clean. Breakfast was good for a 3 star place. Despite being next to major road and station the noice level... More

I had a really good stay at the Chopin hotel. It is located opposite the main train station, with tram and metro stops both close by so you can get to most places in Prague really easily from the hotel. I arrived by train, so this was an excellent location, but if you arrive by air you should be able... More

A very satisfactory 3 night stay - our first time in Prague. Excellent location - everything in easy walking distance - metro(at main train station), Wenceslas Square, Old Town, the river, across to the Castle. Twin room was a generous size: immediate favourable impression was it was furnished like a Holiday Inn Express and turns out the hotel used to... More

The hotel is very close to main train station and very convenient for us as we are traveling around Europe by train. I particularly like the door in the bathroom. you can use it to close the toilet only or you can use it to close the whole bathroom .The free wifi is strong and I was able to upload... More

I was arriving late in Prague (10.30pm) at the main train station (Hlavni Nadrazi). I wanted a hotel nearby rather than do further travelling. The Chopin hotel is opposite the station but not too close as to hear trains - under 5 min walk. Also near Wenceslas Square and a short walk into the heart of the Old Town. Friendly... More

Stayed here five nights with a student group. The staff were accommodating and friendly toward the students and the value was great. There was a very large range of options for breakfast which was appreciated. Location was quiet and close to the train station. I would book it again if I were in Prague.

Could not fault this hotel for the money. Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only downside was the small choice of foods for breakfast, but this seems to be the norm with continental breakfasts.

A very nice family-sized room overlooking the railway station park. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located and within walking distance of the city-center attractions. Overall, we were pleased with the visit.

We chose Chopin because of its location, right across Prague's main railway station. It takes literally two minutes to walk to the hotel from the station. Well, fortunately for us, that wasn't the only good thing about the hotel. It’s a very unassuming regular business hotel but in terms of comfort and quality, it definitely does a pretty good job.... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
